YMCA - swim lessons

I am the parent of two members at the Verdugo Hills YMCA and my child is not being accepted into a swimming lessons for this month, because supposedly there is no room left. My child has already been in swim lessons for four months. When we attended the YMCA in Glendale, CA, on the last day of class we were given a certificate of completion and after that we went and paid. Here we were not given anything and it was explained that sign-ups went from the 23rd of every month. My child was sick for two weeks; however, I came to pay on the 27th but I was told that the class was full. How can they can kick out a child from a class that they are already part of and take someone else. This is disrespect to a person. My older child, goes for recreational swimming as a member. There are always one or two lanes for recreational swimming. Fifteen minutes after my son entered the water, he was told that he had to get out because they are preparing to teach another class. However, on the other lanes, they are holding paid private lessons. I consider this as a big form of disrespecting one's rights. Each person has their own rights. I ask that the anarchy in this YMCA be dealt with.

The VIc Coppinger YMCA in Pearland Texas has the rudest employees that work "The Welcome Center". I worked there for about a month and quit due to their lack of wanting to train me. I worked 3 hour shifts for $8 per hour and did nothing but make coffee and answer a few phone calls. The rest of the crappy staff which included Toni, Kendra (who needs a breath mint), Linda and Tempest all acted like rude little school girls. The turn over rate for this place is ridiculous. They need better management and employees that are friendly and professional. Thank goodness I got out of there and now work for a real estate company. The people are great and I was trained for my job in less that 2 weeks. Maybe Toni, Kendra and Lashawn need to stop hanging around gossiping and train their new employees before they get tired of it and quit! Good luck with that!
