January 31st, friday, had numerous labs drawn on husband, jason kitt, at placerville office dob 12/14/77. they were ordered by dr. sewell's office in auburn, ca 13555 bowman road, suite 100, auburn.
We saw the results online, but never got a call from the doctor. as you know, you hold the results until the doctor can see, but they never got the results. there was a critical lab value that was not relayed to us. also the psa, tsh and a1c labs were ordered, but not drawn. this was an additional lab order by the same office. they still don't have the results.
There is lack of communication between the placerville quest office and dr. sewell's office in auburn. there are different pas and dr. s that work there, so the exact ordering physician or pa I don't have the name of, could have been jay, pa, but i'm unsure.
I just called your customer service. I am not asking you to violate hippa laws, I offered to give you my husband's phone to talk to him, if you want, but the problem remains, legally you are liable for not drawing the correct labs and not reporting the critical lab results to the ordering physician. please fix the problem. that is what I am requesting. you can always contact my husband and ask him, if that is what you need to to. lindsay and the manager lynn on customer service line of quest just refused to take my husband's phone number and refused to do anything about this.
I would think you would care if there was a serious lab result and the fact you haven't communicate to the doctor. you could at least say you were taking care of the issue. I have no idea why any employee of yours would refuse to look into a potential quality issue of your healthcare. it should be of utmost concern to you.
