Digital Storm sold me a brand new laptop computer on Jan 2012. The laptop was never tested and has experienced multiple problems.
1. Secondary hard-drive was never formatted. Tech support had to do remote access.
2. Intel Wireless Network Card was not enabled and configured. Why would you expect the customer to do this? Tech support had to do remote access.
3. Ordered Intel network card, but computer was shipped out with Bigfoot network software, which conflicted with various programs. The Bigfoot software should never have been installed.
4. Laptop never passed any TESTING phase! Only phase passed was STAGE 1, which is payment of my credit card info. No telling what problem is next…
5. Cooling Fan never came once for 30 days while playing high-performance games, and then out of nowhere, during a Microsoft Word document the Cooling Fan comes on and stays on continuous! There are no programs running and computer is cool, but the COOLING FAN IS RUNNING AND IS VERY LOUD!

Obviously, my laptop failed to complete the 72 hours stress test, as all of these faults would have been identified.
I also noticed the shipping was expedited, as normal build and test time did not match the arrival date to my front door. The rush to send a product to the consumer and not do the due diligence for custom built computers!
P.S. I am a repeat customer and had similar problems on my last Digital Storm laptop. I was confident that I would not have problems again with a Digital Storm computer again, but that did not happen...
Who the hell wants to buy a brand new laptop from Digital Storm and ship it from Afghanistan or Florida to California and be without a computer for 4 weeks?

This wowsteve character who has commented above is most likely Fara Karim, herself. This is the notoriously disgusting HR manager at Digital Storm whom I've had the pleasure of working with. This woman is a self-admitted narcassist and, I am quoting here, "I know that I'm arrogant and not going to change this". She dresses everyday in track pants and spandex top. I caught her more than once examining her cleavage to make her fake breasts hung out "just right". She has a incredibly repulsive personality to say the least. This personality disorder is coupled with a complete lack of managerial skills, tech experience (she is, if you can believe, tech support manager but does not do tech support herself) and social graces. Be warned - Digital Storm is not a good place to work.
As a former employee who has since moved on, I am astonished that a company like Digital Storm remains intact. There is an incredible turnover rate - meaning they have to constantly train new people and there is very little cohesion. Fara Karim is the main reason for this: she is arrogant, unprofessional, and a self-admitted narcissist. Basically stated the following in a closed door meeting with me: "I know that I'm like this and I'll never change". She spends most days dressed in track suit pants and a disgusting spandex top that has her fakes nearly tumblng out the front. I caught her numerous times looking down at her breasts, admiring them or something. It's analogous to a man walking around checking out his package. Diagnosis: sociopath with narssasistic tendencies.
Fara talks down to people. She is unprofessional and rude. It seems like the owner does whatever she wants. The company has a high employee turnover. I don't know who is having an argument on this post but it is not surprising there are people who hate Fara or this company.

You say "this Steve guy" if you are who you say you are then you already stated you know Steve. So implying you don't know him by saying "this Steve guy" makes you look more like an idiot than previously ...
No again like I said im not Steve and if this steve guy was doing this then I would hope he would be telling the truth! Again im not him, I know who I am and I dont have to proof who I am to anyone! Im a women with two children! So think what u want to think
