I purchased 4 gift cards for my family for christmas. I have the receipt and activation codes. When my son and his wife went to use the $300 amex gift card, it was declined, they called amex and they were no help because the middle numbers on the front of gift card were not there! amex could not help due to that fact. It was very frustrating for them trying to purchase items with 2 babies with them only to walk out frustrated. I went to the cvs I purchased these cards from and they said they could do nothing, contact 1800cvscare. Well cvs does not care, the number they gave me I called not longer in service.. I spent $300 on a card that is worth nothing. Our family has been shopping and getting our medications for over 30 years at cvs but this just makes me want to move to walgreens down the street. Please let me know what will be done to get my $300 back
