Ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich meal around 4:45 pm after a day at the splash pad with my children. We got home, and because the kids were tired I dimmed the lights and turned on a movie for us to watch. I was about halfway through eating my sandwich when something stringy was attached between the sandwich and the bite that I was attempting to take. I spat it out and took the sandwich to the kitchen to have a look - and it was raw. Extremely raw. I tried to puke up as much as I could, but I was largely unsuccessful. So I gathered the sandwich, loaded up my children in the car, and took it back to the Sonic location I purchased it from. I was SO angry, but I kept my composure when confronting the manager. He was very apologetic and refunded my money - even offered to remake my sandwich. But at that point I was repulsed by the thought of any more food. I understand that humans make errors, but I'm completely disgusted. I feel like a reimbursement is the bare minimum I should have been offered, not to mention that I really hope I don't get sick.
