I went to the McDonalds at Orange Beach, AL on 2/5/24 at 11:28am. I waited for 7 min. and no one took my order, so I placed it on the kiosk. The kiosk was out of paper, so I rec’d no receipt, but did note my number. I waited another 10 min. to receive my food. I live in Iowa and go to a McDonalds approximately once a week. I travel frequently and usually go to McDonalds at least once. This was, by far, the slowest service EVER. There were plenty of employees and drive up only had 1 or 2 customers. It wasn’t a question of being overwhelmed. All but one employee seemed untrained as to what they should be doing. Other customers were requesting napkins, as the dispenser was empty. The floor was so sticky my tennis shoes stuck to it.
I know McDonalds has an inspection program and I can’t believe this franchise could pass it.
Altho I will undoubtedly return to McDonalds, this one will not be on my list!

Desired outcome: You should know this franchisee is giving you a bad reputation. I would also like a reply!

with the introduction of the kiosk system the service from a human being is lax. i live in a different state and we were told to use the kiosk even though all signage reads "place order at kiosk OR cashier". While it is great they are using new innovative tech to make it more streamlined...it was badly implemented in my experience to. sorry to hear you had trouble too.
