United States Census Bureau - Supervisor (Tom Duncan)

Date of Incident: 05/17/2020
Tom Duncan failed as a supervisor dramatically. He provided me no information during the whole work phase. All information was given to me from another fellow employee. After, I transmitted my information there wasn't anymore cases to work. So, on today I texted Tom Duncan that my time was rejected. He stated that "Yes with a reason why?' I responded with"ok I understand the reason and everything. So I'm not getting paid for that day of work and mileage? Plus I don't have any cases. Also, I didn't get paid for the training as well. Tom Duncan replied, "I would like to know you do not work to your availity and cut you time short? Your block production is very low? The miles dose not add up with the few blocks you say you work? Had you made contact with me about any training or unpaid money I would resolve it. I don't recall any unpaid training? You will receive your pay. I need your work explained for yesterday please. I am going to show up a day or two where you are working to observe and check things out on your end." I said "ok". Tom Duncan replied, "Darlene I need for you to please put your time back in for yesterday and the training you are claiming that you did not get get paid for. Thank you. I responded," OK I'm not at home right now". Tom said" okay as soon as you can let me know? I will need a location or address to find you please". Then he said ok do you want me to meet you there tomorrow? And if you do what time? He said please put your time in for yesterday and your training with the dates of training. I responded" yes you can. If you want your equipment and stuff you can come and get it today. Don't worry about the time cause I know you or whoever can see that I put time in during training and when I worked Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I also want a written statement why I'm giving you the supplies and the equipment/ termination. Also you failed me as a supeervisor as alack of communication during the pandemic shutdown and I had to get information from other employees. Thanks for your time. Tom said he would come today and get all the supplies and equipment. He told me that there's no written statement. He harassed me with that someone from homeland security can come and get the equipment. Then he showed up to my house with a bad attitude. he Tom Duncan said give me all of the supplies and equipment with a nasty attitude. My husband told Tom Duncan not to disrespect my wife. Thats when Tom Duncan snatched all the equipment and supplies out my hand. So my husband asked Tom Duncan in a calm way why is my wife Darlene Albritton terminated? His response was lack of production which I didn't have any cases left. He Tom Duncan said you all are some GHETTO black people with no home training. So my husband told him to get off of our property. I was really hurt by it. Thank you all. You can contact me @ [protected] or [protected]@yahoo.com.

I quit the US Census Bureau after only four days on the job. Management is very unprofessional. The training is a joke. I ended up using my own personal mobile phone data, and accrued mileage and hours for which I was not reimbursed or paid. The incompetence is so rampant that I do not trust the census results at all! If you are thinking of working as an Enumerator for the Census Bureau, just don't! Rather, turn and run!

United States Census Bureau - us census caretaker

I received your envelope for the census, but haven't had a chance to fill it out yet due to just having cancer surgery. I am getting harassing phone calls and constant notes on my door every day from this person. You can email me a link for it and when I feel better I can do it and tell this person to stop calling me and coming on to my property. Thank you.
