United HealthCare Services review: Denial of coverage on eyeglasses and low-cost payment on Cataract surgery

United Health Care sent a denial coverage letter on 5/26/2026, stating UHC will not cover the cost of $104.00 of a pair of eyeglasses frame that UHC approved at Wal Mart Vision Center on 12/31/2025. This shows that United Health Care is a business, that does not fulfill the approval made by their company (UHC).
I had Cataract surgery done on both my left and right eye this year. I paid $685 copayment for each eye, United Health Care paid $545 for each eye, the balance left for each eye was paid by Medicare. The patient pays more towards the eye surgeries than the insurance company (UHC). The $685 copayment is what United Health Care requires for the coverage of their insurance plan.
