I hired Under One Roof to fix my house after it caught fire in November

I hired Under One Roof to fix my house after it caught fire in November . *** gave his bid to my mortgage company, and they sent a check for $55,000 in August . ***'s dad picked up the check, and we signed it over to Under One Roof. *** said he'd have us back in our home by Thanksgiving 2021, but now we're being evicted because we couldn't pay rent. *** said he'd pay our rent, but he's not answering our calls or messages. We need our money back because Under One Roof hasn't done any work on our property.
