Ulta Beauty review: Gift card

I purchased a gift card for my Daughter in Law for her birthday on November 19th. the gift card was not activated on your end, therefore she could not use it. I have called and spent hours on the phone and finally received a $50 gift certificate on Monday., half of what I paid for. I enclosed original $100 gift cert. with the 16 digit and pin #, and the $50 one she received. It has taken me 5.45 hrs and 5 emails just this week ,sending gift cards and still no solution to my problem. Let me ask you, why do you have a complete customer service department that absolutely cannot solve one simple issue? when I called tonight i was told that I needed to send my personal bank statement to Ulta Customer Service before this issue would be resolved. Your company cannot issue a gift card, let alone demand my personal bank statement. You knew the money had already been in your hands for 3.5 weeks. You have been paid for weeks. It's a simple delay tactic your corporation has in effect, to screw and deceive your customers, hoping they will simply give up and you pocket their money. I'm appalled, angry, frustrated, and want to warn ANYONE, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS FROM THIS COMPANY... I OWN 16 restaurants and would NEVER treat a customer like you have done. I will shout this to the world if need be. Your business plan of screwing your customers will eventually catch up with you. I assume you will be in Bankruptcy by the passing of the Christmas season. And I hope it does. I also hope that I can get through to as many of your customers as possible and share my nightmare of an experience with them before they purchase gift card directly from you that you CANNOT and WILL NOT HONOR. Shame on you,
