Very disappointing. Scammers who don't respect their own policy but are very fast to take your money !
Tutor are asked to work up to 4 hours for free, sometimes more !
According to their policy, if the students decide to not continue after those non paid hours, they should refund the tutors half of the price paid by the students. However, the refund never comes, even after months of contacting them and asking them and they always send the same message saying they are sorry for the delay and that they will follow up with their teams... They are mocking people! Students are also complaining to never be refunded. Total scam, avoid at all cost! There are more better platforms out there that respect both the students and the teachers.

Recommendation: Avoid Tutoroo at all cost and go to ethic platforms that respects the teachers, the students and their policy.

Their policy says they refund 50% of the price of the classes if the student doesn't want to continue which is normal as for a compensation for our time as the first two weeks of classes are not paid to the teachers at all !
One of my students, the first one actually, took the 2 classes (non paid for the teacher and she took ages to do the classes too, contrary to what we agreed, just a lost of time and energy on my side...) and stated clearly in the chat that she didn't want to continue. Been 3 month waiting and contacting them regularly for the compensation as promised via their messages and the Tutoroo policy. Each time they send the same message saying they follow up with their Team but nothing happens. Fast to take the money but slow to respect the terms... I saw many other complains saying the same and also on the students side. Very disrespectful for our work. First time such a case happens to me and I want to be compensated for my time. I feel completely mocked !
