Tubi TV review: Having to sign up to stop auto play, giving my email to store programs and having to verify

This is not a free channel we have to watch commercials to pay for watching. I would rather pay money then pay with my sanity.
If I give my e-mail why would I have to verify it, and verifying is not easy I have to go on my computer to my email site to get code, why? It's my tv not my cell phone, I am watching.
