Try The World Disappointing Experience with Try The World: Late Delivery, Overcharging, and No Refunds

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Try The World. I was really excited to order a set of 3 boxes as a gift for my brother, but boy was that a mistake. After waiting several months, I still hadn't received any boxes. But, to my surprise, I was charged for another set of 3 boxes! I was pretty upset about this, so I decided to email them to see what was going on. They told me they would send the boxes, but I had to wait several more months before my brother finally received a total of 2 boxes.

To make matters worse, they charged me for 9 boxes in total! I mean, come on, that's just ridiculous. When I asked for a refund for all the boxes that weren't delivered, they refused. Can you believe that? They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or offer any sort of compensation. They just said they would send all the boxes I had paid for, but honestly, I'm not holding my breath.

Overall, my experience with Try The World was pretty terrible. Their service was just awful, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. It's really disappointing when a company doesn't deliver on their promises and then refuses to make it right. I hope they can improve their service in the future, but until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Try The World A Mixed Experience: My Honest Review of Try The World Subscription Boxes

I've been a Try The World subscriber for more than two years now and I have to say, my experience has been a bit of a mixed bag. When I first signed up, I was really excited about the concept and the products that I was receiving in my bi-monthly boxes were really impressive! I felt like I was discovering new and interesting foods and ingredients from all over the world that I otherwise might never have known about.

However, after about a year or so, I started to notice that the quality of the products seemed to be slipping. Some of the items felt a bit lackluster and not as exciting as they had been in the past. I also started to experience issues with shipment delays - I would be billed for a box but then it wouldn't arrive until two months later. That was a frustrating experience, to say the least.

But the real kicker came when I found out that I had accumulated 51 redeemable points and went to use them only to find out that there was only one item available (cheese) for my 50-point redemption value. I wanted to see if I could get two items - one for 30 points and one for 20 points - only to be told that I had already redeemed my points (which I had not). Unfortunately, when I reached out to customer service about this issue, I didn't receive a helpful response.

Overall, I have to say that my experience with Try The World has been disappointing. While I had some really enjoyable moments early on, the product quality, shipping issues and poor customer service all added up to leave me with a bad taste in my mouth. If you're thinking about signing up for Try The World, my advice would be to proceed with caution.

Try The World Try The World" Review: Waiting for Months, No Shipment Updates, and Poor Customer Support - A Potential Scam?

So listen, I tried this website called Try The World and let me tell you - it was a bit of a mess. They charged me right away, no issues there, but then I was waiting and waiting for my package to come. And nothing. Not a single box, not a single tracking number, not a single email with any kind of explanation. I was getting frustrated, like seriously, do they even care that I'm waiting here?

So I messaged them, and they said they had never shipped it out! Can you believe it? They admitted they never even sent it. But they said "hold on, we'll fix it, we manually processed a new shipment" - I didn't even know what that meant, but it sounded like they were doing something to fix the issue. And they promised to send me a tracking number, so I could know when to expect it. Cool, right?

But then...nothing. Again. No tracking number, no box, no updates, nothing. And it's been two whole months! Two months since I paid for something I never even got. That's outrageous. Most places, when they mess up, they'll send you a replacement right away, or they'll refund your money without question. But these guys? Nothing. Not even a reply when I asked for my money back.

Honestly, it's starting to feel like a scam. I don't know what they're doing over there, but it's definitely not customer service. If you're thinking about trying this website, I'd say think twice. It's not worth the hassle, trust me.

Try The World Disappointing Experience with Try the World's Monthly Box

I was sooooooooooooo excited to get this monthly present. As someone who loves to cook at home, I couldn't wait to see what exotic ingredients Try the World would send me each month. So far, I have gotten three monthly boxes. The first two were pretty disappointing because they were exactly the same. Bummer! After diving into the boxes, I was a little confused because the stuff I got didn't match what was advertised on their website. I did my best to find recipes for what I received, but it was no bueno. The featured recipes included in the box were not helpful. Honestly, it seemed like a bunch of random stuff with no unifying theme. I mean, seriously, does anyone need three whole bottles of Habanero garlic pepper sauce? I love spice, but holy cow. I had tried another monthly food Club before that was way better. Their boxes had interesting themes and recipes that actually matched up with what was included in the box. It felt like a more curated experience. I really tried to contact Try the World to voice my concerns but couldn't find any options for direct communication. So, I guess I'm stuck with a fridge full of mismatched food items. Disappointing!

Try The World Mixed Feelings about Try The World: Neat Concept, but Terrible Customer Service

I gotta say, I've had some mixed feelings about Try The World. It's a neat concept - they send you a box full of goodies from a different country every couple months - but the customer service is just a huge mess. If you're not the type to need a lot of hand-holding, you might be cool with it, but don't count on actually getting any help if you have any issues.

So here's what happened with me. I was having some trouble with the billing, so I dropped them an email. Y'know what they did? They just straight-up lied to me, which did not feel very cool. I ended up going for the nuclear option and calling them, but after a few attempts, I had to leave them a couple messages asking when would be a good time for us to chat. Turns out, they were just too busy (or didn't care enough) to give me the time of day. I mean, come on now.

Now, I've tried other subscription boxes before, and I gotta say, Try The World is the least helpful when it comes to customer service. It's a bummer, 'cos I was really excited about the idea, but I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. Steer clear!

Try The World Tired of Lackluster Customer Service from Try The World: A Review

I've been getting Try The World boxes for a while now, and I gotta say, I'm getting real tired of their customer service. Over the past few months, I've been waiting and waiting for my boxes to ship, and it seems like the only time they actually get sent out is when I hound them with a bunch of emails. It's a real headache, you know?

Last month was the final straw. Try The World claimed that they sent out an email to let customers know about a delay, but I never saw that email. And let me tell ya, I'm not the only one who didn't get it - a bunch of other subscribers I know are in the same boat. It just doesn't seem right that they can treat their paying customers like that.

Don't get me wrong, the product itself is okay for the most part. But when a company can't even be bothered to keep their customers in the loop and show some basic respect, it's time to take our business elsewhere. It's a real shame that they've decided to act this way, because they used to be pretty great. But let's be real, businesses that treat people like poop don't tend to last very long. I'm definitely canceling my subscription and looking for something better.

Try The World Disappointing Try the World Box: Not Worth the Hype and Money Spent

I was given Try The World as a pressie and I gotta say, I was super excited for it! But alas, the box was just a clutter of stuff I could easily grab at the market (Nandos peri sauce, anyone?). I feel bad for my buddy who shelled out some cash for this box, and it didn't match my expectations. If only it was a neat little collection of goodies from a particular country, with a sweet lil pamphlet accompanying it detailing some of the facts and histories of those products. But all it gave was the items, or even worse, a coupon for one of them. I reckon they goofed up a bit, but there's a huge potential for making Try The World a more entertaining and cool trinket. It should have that wow effect when it's opened up. I still think it could be a decent present, though.

Try The World Disappointing Experience with Try The World's Curated Snack Boxes: A Review

Hey guys, I just wanted to share my experience with Try The World, the online service that delivers curated boxes of snacks and treats from all around the world right to your doorstep. I gotta admit, I used to be a subscriber a couple of years ago and I was completely hooked on their county-specific boxes from places like France, Thailand, and Sweden. Believe me, I found some of the best goodies I now can't live without!

But then, after a while of not renewing my subscription, I got this email from them to "try them again", and I thought, why not? So earlier this year, I decided to give them another chance. And boy, am I disappointed. I just received my third random box from them and to put it bluntly, it was full of junk. I kid you not, I got a bottle of pickle juice, a pack of matcha mix, some shelf-stable cauliflower rice, and some beat-up cookies that didn't even look appetizing.

It's like the magic is gone, you know? They used to curate their boxes so well and offer suggestions on how to use the ingredients, what recipes would be perfect to showcase the flavors of the country or region, and what other products would pair well with the treats. But now, there's none of that. It's just a box full of random, often questionable products.

I've had enough and decided to hit the unsubscribe button as soon as possible. It's sad to say goodbye to a service that used to be so good, but I just can't justify wasting my money on something that doesn't get me excited anymore.

Try The World Terrible Experience with Try The World: Poor Customer Service and Quality of Products

I had a really bad experience with Try The World. I was super excited to get their monthly boxes filled with goodies from around the globe. I signed up for 4,3 monthly boxes and a bonus box. I checked the mailbox every day, but no boxes ever arrived. I waited a month and then decided to contact customer service, but there was no phone number to call, only an email address. I sent several emails, but never got a response from them.

After a few weeks of this, I got pretty frustrated and decided to file a dispute with my credit card. Suddenly, out of nowhere, one box arrived. I was pretty excited to finally get something, but when I opened it, I was super disappointed. The box contained a random assortment of American "snacks," really cheap dollar store stuff that I could have bought myself at any local store.

I contacted Try The World again, and this time, they actually replied to my emails. They promised me a full refund for more than 60 days, but the refund was never sent to my credit card. I contacted my credit card company, but they were informed by Try The World that they had delivered my products and so no refund was possible. What's even worse, Try The World keeps replying to my emails promising to refund me, but nothing ever happens.

I'm pretty sure the company is going bankrupt, but instead of dealing with it in a professional way, they are trying to scam people for the last few dollars they can get. It's a total bait and switch situation, and I don't recommend anyone to try them out. It's not worth it at all.

Try The World Disappointing Changes to Try The World Subscription Box - Not Worth the Investment

I gotta say, I was pretty hyped to try out Try The World. I had heard from some of my pals that it was a real treat, with all kinds of unique and amazing food items from all over the globe. So, I decided to give it a go and ordered up a subscription around 5 years ago. It was righteous, man. Every box was filled with some of the most thoughtful, tasty, and culturally interesting stuff you could imagine. I even got recipes and info about the products and the different countries they came from.

But, when I got my boxes this year, things had really changed. It was like they were running low on ideas or something- all of the products seemed like they could have been picked up at any local grocery store. And, to make matters worse, they were from all kinds of different countries, so there was no cohesive theme or anything. No lit or ideas for how to use 'em, either. It was a real bummer, man. One time, I even got a bottle of mayo and a container of lime juice. Like, sick, thanks?

My advice: don't waste your cash here. I actually cancelled my subscription- which was refunded, to be fair- but for some reason, they were still sending me boxes?! Like, okay, thanks, but no thanks. Now, it's honestly kind of funny when they show up 'cause me and my homies get to see what random, weird stuff they decided to toss in a cheap box. But, I'm not paying for that stuff, so there's that.

Try The World Unreliable Try The World Subscription - Don't Waste Your Money

So, I was pretty hyped when I ordered my three-month Try The World subscription back in August. But, gotta say, waiting until late September for my first box to arrive felt like an eternity. I mean, come on now. But, I got over it when I finally received my box from the UK. It had some pretty basic stuff that I could get at my local grocery store - but hey, still pretty good.

But, what's up with not getting my October box? Not cool, Try The World. But, I gotta give them props for how lovely their customer service was when I hit them up about it. They offered to give me an extra box at the end of my subscription so I'd still get my November and December boxes and even threw in a free snack box to make up for the inconvenience. I'm like, okay, fair enough.

Except...I still haven't gotten my November box. And now, because I didn't renew my subscription, I can't even see what's going on with my boxes. Like, what the heck?

So, needless to say, I'm not renewing my subscription now. I've requested a partial refund for the two boxes I never got, but not sure how that's gonna go. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Try The World if you're looking for reliability. Just saying.
