We contracted and pre-paid for seven treatments plus an aeration and over-seeding of our 42K sq ft lawn in early 2025. During all of the visits, technicians missed large swaths of the lawn. It was clear looking at the weeds that half the lawn was untreated. The next technician to visit for a subsequent treatment, or to handle a call back complaint agreed the lawn wasn’t treated, apologized, and said he’d make a note. But with a new technician coming for nearly every treatment, there was no continuity among the staff. Email, text, and phone calls all route to different people, none of whom are local to our area. Customer support would make a promise, but the tech that arrived knew nothing about it. The worst part is the $1600 aeration and over-seeding only reached about half of the yard. We contacted TruGreen to complain and TruGreen sent someone to finish the job, but it was too dry. The tech said they would return when the weather was better. We requested a fall 2026 aeration and over-seeding, not a spring 2026 one. In April 2026 we found out that TruGreen closed the account and had no intention of returning here. They have stolen nearly $1600 from us! This used to be a good company, but not any more.
Recommendation: Avoid them at all cost.
