Trip Mate does not provide reliable payments for trip related claims. We had to disembark a cruise to Italy and Greece December 10, 2025 due to a medical issue that was not handled correctly by Viking however we had to pay approximately 3500$ out of pocket to return home. Trip Mate has been sent the documentation a minimum of 4 times since December of last year and has refused to pay the claim. Claim submission originally occurred Dec 17 2025 with followup documentation and request for payment in January, February and March.
Do not trust Trip Mate if you think they will honor your claim.

I experienced a medical issue on a Viking cruise and was forced (by Viking) to return home. We had to pay 3100$ for the additional airfare to return home. Tripmate has had this claim since December and refuses to reimburse us for the additional costs.
