I made the purchase at around 7pm, with the flight scheduled for 12pm the next day. Now, you would think that within those few short hours, I would receive my electronic ticket, right? Wrong! Time ticked away, and there was no sign of my ticket. Panic started to set in as I realized the airline had absolutely no record of my reservation. What a mess!

In a state of desperation, I dialed their call center and even tried their so-called 'emergency' number. But guess what? No one bothered to pick up the phone. Can you believe it? Frustrated beyond belief, I decided to take matters into my own hands and sent an email to cancel the flight. Well, guess what happened next? Absolutely nothing! Not a single response from those folks.

I booked my flight through BudgetAir.com from New Zealand to India. Arrived in India with no problem, but when it was time to check in for my return flight, I was told that my flights hadn't been 'confirmed' and I couldn't check in.

I called BudgetAir.com's "Emergency" number four times, and each time I was put on hold for over 10 minutes. Finally, when someone answered, they had the audacity to tell me that it wasn't their fault or problem and then hung up on me. Can you believe it? I was left stranded in India.

Why did I waste my money booking through an agent? When things go wrong, they refuse to take responsibility and instead blame the airline. But guess what? The airline told me to contact my agent because that's who I booked the tickets through. I paid my hard-earned money to BudgetAir.com, expecting them to book and confirm my tickets. Is that too much to ask?

I strongly advise you to avoid BudgetAir.com at all costs. Instead, book directly with the airline or a reputable company that actually values and respects their paying customers.
