You order for secial promotion Life Cleanse Diet pills as a trial, for £1.00 but in their Terms & Conditions have the right to send you more at a cost of £79 + £3.95 postage.
Be aware they aren't that good! The phone number isn't a UK based one so could be Premium rate, wouldn't confirm if they would do a refund on return of product, telephonist has just put the phone down on me saying they will correspond via e-mail only!

Think carefully before you use this promotion on the internet!

I too feel stupid for falling for this scam. I am (post) mailing a cancellation request, hand written and photo copied. I am within the 30 days, I have recieved the life cleanse pills and nothing else and have lost $269.00. the authorities should head over to this address and stop them from doing anymore business untill the matter is settled. As for ever seeing my money again I doubt it. Lesson learned...DO NOT ORDER PRODUCTS ONLINE!

I am shocked I could fall for such crap! Thanks to everyone who posted messages here, thanks to this I had something to start with in trying to get this issue solved.

First of all I went to my bank and they cancelled the card I used with this site. This card is linked to a different account than my general account, so hopefully this will be enough in order to stop them from taking any more money from me... 360$ is already more than enough!

I also called the number provided by Trading Planet or LB LFP Internet Ltd. LTd. which is what they call themselves now. I used the UK number +[protected] to cancel my account and ask for a refund. According to their "policy" which we all agreed to without reading (just went back to the site to read it this time, it is outrageous!), we can ask for ONE refund per product, within 30 days (calendar days) of the first order (that is, when you ordered the samples). In theory if this is fulfilled, the money should be refunded, except for the shipping costs. While I have a hard time believing this, it all sounds really dodgy, I'll just have to wait and see. They gave me cancellation numbers for each of the accounts I had (3 accounts - one for each of the products I had ordered). However, these were only communicated by phone and when I asked whether they can follow-up with an email/letter so I have the confirmation in writing they said they're not allowed to send emails. hmmmm However, their refund department which I was told to wait to hear from, will contact me via surprise suprise... EMAIL! within the next 2-3 business days. oh well, I think I just have to accept that I've been stupid and just wasted a serious amount of money and hopefully this stops here at least!

Anything we can do to get the authorities on these ###? If you form any sort of group I want to join!

I am willing to form a group of people to help stop this people from trading and gaining money from vunerable people. I have been scammed and I am so frustrated both with myself and these people for clearly ripping people off through loopholes. They make trading online scare for people and impossible for genuine trading companies. I have stopped my credit card after obtaining a cancellation number from these people. I have a number and address in the UK which is

Trading Planet Ordman House,
31 Arden Close,
Bradley Stoke,

BS32 8AX.

Tel number [protected].

Good luck to anyone trying to get a refund

I also was a victim of Trade Planet, u.k. I ordered the berry and the cleanse. I called the Toronto phone no.(416)... to cancel my order. They gave me confirmation numbers that the order was cancelled on August 26/09 and they charged my visat on Aug. 27... I understand this is a complaint board, but what I would like to do is form a group and welcome any suggestions from lawyers, media, journalist, etc...

Because if we unite together and take action against this SCAMMING company... We'll get the strenght in NUMBERS... I vowed to myself that I won't let this scamming TRADE PLANET win AND get rich by stealing money from law abiding citizens. We wouldn't get away by scamming people why should they have the easy way out?

Awaiting your replies, comments, help...

I have bought life cleancse, Acaiberry detox and resveratrol extract from them for the $11-79 New Zealand dollars in September 2009 and today they taken $164-75 New Zealand dollars from me. No explanations or telling me that they are going to do this.

"can anyone confirm they didnt take any money out of there account after cancelling within the 15 days trail period"
they keep taking money from you anyway! you have to go to your bank and change the account number, i.e kill your account and open a new one. i took me 10 minutes but now i have a brand new account number! if you read the other complaints you see that cancel card /or the 15days trial wont work! they keep taking money from your account!
good luck people!

and also to cancel the monthly sub. at trading planet wont do it either, they keep pumping you for money anyhow!

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who got scammed.

After a phone call and alot of emails I was eventually told my account was cancelled on 03-10-2009 and that no furhter orders would be shipped and that I would receive a refund for the other products sent. Then, to my surprise I receive another order supposedly placed on the 05-10-2009 charging me £82.95. I have emailed the company to tell them that technically this is theft as I had cancelled my account with them before they posted the items out (which I obviously hadn't ordered) I am waitin gto hear back from them and will also send a letter and follow the call up.

The whole thing is stressing me out.

I too have been scammed by this company! I found two numbers that work, but they will not refund the money for the trial sample! Silly me, I thought they were free! They don't work either! The numbers are: [protected], and in Toronto: [protected] . I'm sure you won't get much satisfaction, but you CAN cancel, and also you should cancel your credit card, and get a new one! Good luck, I think we should all notify a better buisiness bureau, in our areas! Mona

I called the international number as I live in Sweden. I got a cancellation number and am kind of thinking that it's a good idea to save the invoices and cancellation numbers after coming to this site...

I'd just like to know whether anyone who called and cancelled received more products/was billed any more after the cancellation?

I too got caught with this company. They had a (supposed) New Zealander and the product sounded like just what I needed. I am stuck at a certain weight and it will not move. I have Osteoarthritis in both knees and need to lose as much as possible. I thought great could get a kick start to my body and get rid of the weight quickly. I went through and ordered the Detox. Once I had sent the order I started to get the jitters. Then when I tried to order the Life Cleanse tablet our work firewall would not let it go though as it was labeled as pornography. Why I do not know as I never checked when I got home.
Checked the credit card a few days later and that still did not tell me who the company was. The parcel arrived two days ago so I finally found out who was the company. Googled Trading Post and got this site.
Talk about an eyeopener and a major panic attack. Tried emailing them to cancel the order got back an email stating that the do not deal by email only by phone, overseas numbers only. Emailed the bank to find out if the cancellation email was enough, got back NO it would not. So then rang the local branch of my bank and cancelled the credit card. Leasson learnt DO NOT DO THIS AGAIN.
WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT GET SUCKED INTO THIS DEAL.

we got caught up in the scandal in Canada and could not cancel kept getting the ring around. Finally after much frustration had credit card cancelled and then called [protected] and spoke to some Candi had the acai berry and life cleanse cancelled got a confirmation number for both products. So were crossing our fingers that it"s taking care of. But to be on teh safe side definitely cancel your credit card that they have! What a scam and hassel!

I am from Australia and I seem to have been duped too. I am only just outside my trial period and I have been unsuccessfully trying to get through to the company on their Customer Service Line so I sent a letter about a week and a half ago to cancel. Sure enough, on Monday, I saw two charges on my account (which is also my general account) for $137 each. I rang through as I had no idea what they were for and Westpac asked me to call again the next day as the details had not come up yet. I rang on Tuesday and worked out that these were from Trading Planet, even through the debit details were completely different and had a Singapore phone number. I organised a dispute with my bank and the charges were put back into my account yesterday. However, I checked my account today to do some telephone banking and found that the buggers had charged my card again, this time for $141.28 twice! Again I disputed successfully and came across this site. I wish I had 2 weeks ago! I have since sent them an email but this was returned saying that they only handle customer service over the phone hmmmm but upon reading some of the other comments, I have also emailed 'sales@viveraglobal.com' and 'support@localbillinglimited.com' to see what they can do. I will also try yet again to call them later on today or early tomorrow morning - keeping in mind the time zone difference! I did just receive an email back from LocalBilling so lets see what happens. Fingers crossed!

I ordered 3 of the acai products from Trading Planet Ltd. before I read all the problems people have had and are having with this firm with them billing them for the product when they have not been able to or did not know that they had to cancell any further deliveries and then being charged heaps of money. Many have stated that they have not been able to contact the company particularly on the phone numbers given. I did not want to get invlolved with being charged for things I don't want so I have the email addresses for anyone who might want to cancell their orders as I have done.
They are:
support@localbillinglimited.com - who promptly replied to my email and then passed it on to customerservice@viv3.com
who confirmed my cancellation notice to them so I am hoping that that is it now.
It probably helped that I let them know that I had cancelled my Visa card so that no further payments could be taken out.
Cancelling my card was a small price to pay to make sure that this would not go any further.
I hope these email addresses are of help to others.

I also didn't read this until after I had ordered. I tried to cancel by phone by being in New Zealand this means calling during the night. I have emailed to cancel the order (thank's for the email address), but just in case I am getting a new credit card. The $15 fee this costs is well worth it to avoid further charges.

When I received my Trial for both products I was on my 13th day Trial. In the meantime I found out that I am pregnant and so I couldn't take any pills. I called them immediately on the following numbers and their salesrepresentative person was really helpfull and in 2 minutes time she cancelled my order and gave me the cancellation numbers. It seems that e-mail does not exist. I called on +[protected] or +[protected] and it costs me approximately €2.40.

If you want to cancel your order I suggest to call them immediately.
