I paid $2,695.00 for coverage on my 2016 Lincoln MKZ on 8/8/2023. I have never submitted a claim until my check engine light came on and the vehicle started missing. I drove the vehicle to AutoTech Automotive Repair in Sonora, CA on 2/18/2025 and it was diagnosed to be a defective fuel infector. I started trying to contact Total Auto Protect on that date, as did the repair facility, only to placed on hold and then after an hour being disconnected. I filed a claim on line and have tried five times to call again with the same results: hold an hour and disconnected. Have had no connect at all from Total Auto Protect

Claimed loss: This claim is $600.00 or a full refund of what I paid for this useless coverage, $2,695.00

Desired outcome: To be able to speak to a human at this facility and be refunded my money

I bought a Premium policy for my vehicle in 2022 for $3700. Never had to contact them until now for a couple minor things and they are NOT answering the phone, nor replying to emails. "Jason" no longer works there. I'm afraid this company is a total SCAM!

What do we do?
