The movers from Topline Moving & Storage Inc contacted me (Sharon from the office) to provide a quote for a 7X7X8 storage unit. I informed her that I had around 6-8 boxes of belongings and two desks, as well as a desk located a mile away from my storage unit. She gave me a rate, which I agreed to.
When the movers arrived, they claimed that certain items I had were not packed and therefore not included in the original quote. They attempted to extort an additional $500.00 from me! I refused to comply, resulting in them leaving behind my monitors and cactus. They even refused to pick up the items from the location a mile away! Now I'm in a bind and have to find another moving company to assist me.

But when it came time to actually move, I decided to go with Topline Moving and Storage Inc. I talked to this guy named Daniel a few times. He asked me for a list of the stuff I was moving, and I told him multiple times that there were more items than what he listed. But he said it didn't matter as long as it was under 1800lbs. I even mentioned that he didn't include things like the water machine and shampooer, but he still said it didn't matter as long as it was under 1800lbs.
Then I got an email bill saying that I had to pay an extra $252. They said it was for extra pieces, fuel, and mileage. But that wasn't the price I agreed to or approved.
