Horrible customer service. I would not recommend this place to anybody looking to buy a vehicle. I had put down a $500 deposit for a car and they failed to call me for over a month. I tried numerous times to call and check in and i was just told they had lost our contact info and every time the blame was put on whoever was not around at the time. Don't waste your time here they don't seem to take their business seriously.
Failure to warrenty
Went and bought a truck safetied and Certified .. With a 7 month 11000km warrenty.. With in the first week found the ac fan not working. So they started to replace it's switch. Fine fine . Goes there recently seeing how they was supposed to order a resistor for the ac fan. I got told by there mechanic that Tom the owner that he wasn't to do any more work on my vehicle. Not even a month has went by. Today I came to discover that my truck has no e brake either and it hasn't had a e brake since it was so called safetied .. I want aid on getting some action to sue them for failure to commit
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Too bad I did not see these postings prior to buying a truck from him. He jerked me around for 2 weeks after promising me the truck in a couple of days. He was supposed to repair the rust hole in the box and never did. He sold it to me safety checked and 2 days later I had to have another shop fix items that would never have passed a real safety check. The rear shock where it bolts to the frame was rusted off and not attached and the truck bed was loose due to rusted out bolts.

bought a car of tom pirie motors in smiths falls ont . it was saftied and e tested. when I went to fill up the gas tank I found that it leaked. I traded my 2002 ford ranger in on the deal for 400.00 dollars. he could not find a gas tank for it and offered to give me back my money. when I asked him for my truck back he said it was his. I sent him a registered letter saying to either give me my truck back or the 400.00. he called me and cursed me on the phone and told me to come and get my money. when I saw him he said that he was not going to give me nothing and to get out. he also threatened me if I called omvic on him and threatened my life if I called onvic on him. I do not recomened any one doing any deals with this guy at all!
It seems as though the same guy post a bunch of crap! Never had a problem with any of my cars! When a person choses to buy a used car, along with that comes problems. The guy that's complaining should learn to spell also. Even with a new car a lemon can be in the bunch!
He dosen't stand behind what he sells..or pretends to. My vehicle has been back five times for same problem, they can't fix it.
Tom won't spend the money to take it to dealership and have it repaired correctly. For over three months I have been returning to his shop, hoping for a proper repair..it's unbelievable what is happening. I thought I bought a safe reliable car...obviously not..
I think the worst part is that he put money over customer satisfaction. So..what's next, likely look into legal help to get something done about it.
I recently bought a car from Tom Pirie Motors, safetied and the above mentioned warranty. i've had trouble with the car since the day I picked it up..it actually broke thrity feet from the dealer. Have taken back now five times for repairs. the same issues since day one. The car is in his shop again..since I feel that I shouldn't have to take to another shop..although it would likely be fixed right.
Lets hope it's repaired, finally when I get it back. As a bonus, yes..Tom has a way about him, offered to take car back for another one. But, I would have been doing that as a loss since he had the balls to say " I'm not in the business of losing money" Trying to get me to take a cheaper car ( piece of crap ) for an even trade...lol
Well, once my car is fixed at his cost..I won't be back.
I have bought 2 cars from Tom and never had a issue with the dealership at all if i went back for something to be fix never a problem geting it done
One word for Tom Pirie: SCAMMER!

Hi, I am having similar issues, got the car off this jerk a week ago.. Over 20 faults on the car, was saftey and certified on Friday by his mechanic, today it's Tuesday and will no pass..
