Timeshare Users Group / TUG2.com TUG2.com

I saw one of my timeshare weeks listed for rent on TUG. I had not listed the week and had not authorized the listing. I contacted TUG to tell them this was a fraudulent listing and requested them to remove the ad. After a month, and after submitting proof of my ownership to them, TUG continues to have the fraudulent ad listed. Their comment was that this ad was placed by a long time member. In my view, that is not a valid reason to now be a participant in a fraudulent scheme. Beware.

How ironic that a group that is supposed to help people avoid fraud in the timeshare industry is now an active participant in fraud in the timeshare industry.

Desired outcome: Removal of proven fraudulent ads on TUG.

Timeshare Users Group / TUG2.com Brian Rogers hosts a scam website tug2.net

Brian Rogers is a myopic snake in the grass and has the temper of a toddler. He hosts a website called TUG2.NET and if you have any questions or comments he doesn't like, he'll react inappropriately, unprofessionally, and be disrespectful in the manner he speaks to you. He does NOT honor his word and will take your money and scam you through the TUG2.com site.

They misuse private data of users who've already signed up through his website(s).

Brian Rogers/TUG did not honor the membership we paid for to use this site. It's a lousy site and a total scam.

Desired outcome: Brian Rogers and TUG2.NET should be looked into and/revoke this person's license if he is in fact a "broker"...The misuse of this certification is a dangerous one

Timeshare Users Group / TUG2.com timeshare scam

I signed up on the Timeshare Users Group (TUG2) at the beginning of June 2019, and it all seemed to be OK for me, and I even paid for ads in the Timeshare Market.
I kept reading on the TUG2 Forum, and people there seemed to be so happy and grateful with the Group.
Most reviews I read approved TUG2 as being a remarkably trusted site for timeshare owners. But my dream turned to be a nightmare this last month 'cos I became a victim of scammers. These scammers took my information from TUG2 but how?
The only site I know I summited my private data, and my timeshare information was in TUG2 website, so, they are the ones who are responsible for what happened to me. I won't get my money back but I least, I can prevent others about the dangers of joining TUG2.
I have quit the Group, and I suggest you do the same before it's too late.
If you need to make sure about what I assert here, please read it all by yourself on the Internet. Just type "TUG2 is SCAM, " and that's it!

Timeshare Users Group / TUG2.com timeshare resale brokers on tug2 - scam users group

TUG2 Timeshare-scam user group at Orange Park Florida
Some years ago I published my complaint against TUG2 (Timeshare Users Group). They never paid my money back, and I know they will never do it. The only thing I want is to warn other people about this TUG2 Timeshare Scam that remains as an untouchable and wealthy family manipulating their members' data for their convenience.
TUG2 is private data misuse.
I´m too old, and it is not my choice to stay at home. I´m not in proper conditions to sue this family of scammers. Nonetheless, I still can use my hands to visit some more Blogs on the Internet to share my experience in the hope that it will prevent others to avoid being scammed by TUG2 owners as it happened to me.
My complaint on scam report in 2012 remained unnoticed, and for my regret, I see this TUG2 or Tugbbs as strong as it always has been.
I don´t understand how they manage to eliminate everything that could be of proof about their criminal history.
Don´t you please think this is some stupid attack on them.
You can visit the scam report official website and read my old complaint, and some else's as well.
Another thing I want to clarify before you read my old complaint is the following: It might look like a robust and offensive assertion against TUG2 owners; nevertheless, you might go ahead and search a little more by yourself on the Internet. There is much more out there I sweare you will be astonished by the serious facts related to them.
I know that TUG2 owners must have improved the way they operate and finish transactions which always result in their favor. I assert that somehow they developed and organized some brilliant business circle where timeshare users are led in as though it were a farm for the preparation of it all.

A can support my assertion with the Link Below:

Timeshare Users Group / TUG2.com My e-mail address associated with a scam by TUG

Before joining TUG to try and rent a timeshare week, you should read what happened to me and proceed with caution.

I joined TUG (Timeshare Users Group) on February 19th, 2015 in order to list a timeshare week I was attempting to rent. I posted a week to rent at Wyndham Vacation Resorts Great Smokies Lodge the week following Easter. Everything was going great until I received an e-mail from the a TUG administrator stating “We are going to need you to supply us with scanned copies of your reservation information showing you as the registered owner for the intervals you have listed in the TUG marketplace. We have placed all of your ads on hold pending the receipt of this info.” I therefore sent them the confirmation letter but asked them if this was normal. The response was “This does not cover anywhere near the number of ads you have posted.” I replied that I was very concerned that maybe someone had hacked into my account and that the Great Smokies Lodge was the only listing I had posted. I asked for additional details, but heard nothing.

I therefore starting doing some digging into I could find anything that my TUG account had been hacked. So I decided to Google my e-mail address, [protected]@gmail.com and found this post on the TUG BBS as the first listing. “RENTERS BEWARE: John Marzano AKA Beautiful Home, [protected]@gmail, [protected]@gmail”. Here is a link to the posting: http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=224203. It turns out the other John Marzano was trying to scam people who had posted to the Wish Ads, which allows renters to request someone rent them a specific week. After reading this, I immediately sent the TUG admins an e-mail trying to get them to remove my e-mail address from the posting. I also asked them to refund my $15 membership fee since obviously I want going to be able to rent my week. I tried to convince them that even though both of us shared the same name, I was not the scam artist. However, I guess they couldn't comprehend that two e-mail addresses associated with the same name don’t have to be the same person.

Here is the response I received: “We have actually reported your transaction(s) thru our merchant account as well as the local Atlanta authorities for your attempts to scam our customers. Will let you know how that plays out =)”. I told them that was great and gave them all of my contact information to pass onto the authorities in an attempt to clear my name. Unfortunately I have not heard anything back from the authorities or from TUG.

I have contacted several lawyers to see if I could take legal action, but the upfront expense is just not worth it. I have rented several weeks before through other means and never had any issues. I have used the first part of that e-mail address (jncmarz) for over 20 years. I’m not real happy of having it directly associated with a scam. But apparently that is of little concern to TUG.

Another thing that bugs me is that the individual who created the libel post, Denise M., also runs her own timeshare rental business. There is a link at the bottom of the post that points to her website www.denisetravels.com. Some people might view having someone who runs a timeshare rental business and is responsible for pulling rental ads from TUG as a conflict of interest. But I guess TUG doesn’t.

So why have I posted this rather long story you might ask? We’ll it seems one of the few ways I could get the truth out there. Denise has linked my name and e-mail address with a scam and I don’t have any way of getting it cleared. I’m not saying that Denise was wrong in getting the word out about [protected]@gmail, I just wish she would have done a little bit of research before trashing my reputation. If it happened to me, it can happen to you as well.

Timeshare Users Group / TUG2.com Terrible attitude

I paid for membership, but didn't receive any acknowledgement. After 2 hours (remember, this is online electronic payment), I started a dispute about the payment. The business responded very aggressively, saying that they didn't even get to the office until noon and that I needed to just wait. Absolutely terrible approach to customer service. These people don't do anything to promote confidence in their company. C'mon...they say they're running a business but don't even get to the office until noon?

Timeshare Users Group / TUG2.com Fraud and scam

I joined this website, 'TUG', for the sole purpose of warning its members about the fraudulent practices of a company I used to work for, Universal Marketing Solutions, in Delray Beach, FL. I felt compelled to warn all timeshare owners who check this company out on the internet, with the hope that they will be spared the grief of being ripped-off as many already have been.

Also, I've been able to post valuable information about the company and its personnel, along with appropriate reporting measures (names of local agencies), and suggestions as to how to obtain a refund. According to the 'rules' of TUG, a member is not permitted to duplicate post. Realizing that not all rules are valid and appropriate in such exigent circumstances as the broadcasting of valuable information, I nevertheless posted the same helpful information to several threads concerning Universal Marketing Solutions.

The reason I did this was because I wasn't sure if a member reading one particular thread would in fact read another, or all threads posted about Universal. So I do this, and the next thing I see is an angry e-mail from the TUG Moderator who probably is the sole proprietor of this useless website. It appears to be a one man show, and the loser's name as it appears on the site is B. Rogers. This clown removed my duplicate posts, depriving TUG members of the benefit of my inside information, and thereby opening the door for more members to be victimized by Universal and other timeshare scam outfits of the same ilk.

After I defended my position in a return e-mail correspondence to this mindless buffoon, he proceeds to play e-mail 'tit-for-tat' with me for the next three hours. Apparently, he has nothing better to do with his time than play stupid little games, and his behavior is evidence of a hypocrite who, rather than demonstrate concern over the security of his members and timeshare owners in general, he would rather entertain himself by reading their horror stories posted on his (TUG) website. And in deleting my duplicate posts under the pretense of 'following TUG rules', he is in fact hurting his own members that are relying on his website for as much protective information as possible.

Bottom line...TUG - Timeshare Users Group is a WORTHLESS ENTITY, run by a HYPOCRITE. I should also mention that this creep advised me that he is friends with the administrators of various complaint websites, and that he would have my posted complaints removed. I challenge him to do so, in the interest of freedom of speech.

The crook has done a good job in creating the TUG website. Initially it looks honest, but then he says a small fee is reasonable. Then you need to join, the user will also see immediately methods of payments with credit cards symbols. Initially he says, "Never, never ... pay anything upfront", then there is a small fee, using the cover of "if it is only a small fee". Crooks come in various flavors, watch out.

I think the response is from the same crook. If people want to make money, they can always do that in an honest manner, Karma always comes around, whether you do good or you do bad. That is the way life is. I am old enough to have experienced it many times in my life.

same stupid [censored] from the "Timeshare Avenger" (that his/hers other screen name) . You keep ranting this crap when the problem was with you..

TUG is one of a few place you can get the truth about timeshare and timeshare sales rip offs..

We read your post on universal and appreciated the warning and insite, the info was very useful and I am sure some have benifited from it.

but as most tuggers know you NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, ever pay a upfront fee to any sale company more than say 25 to 45 dollars.. period..

so your mindless drumming about tug is a waste of time..

and you did not JOIN.. you just signed up for the free BBS section of TUG.. so you are not a "member" and most likely not worthy of membership..

good day my man... how go play outside with the other kids and play nice.. :)
