Booked a supposed 4 star hotel through tickets at work. Never in my life have I had such a horrible experience. Immediately after checking into my room I noticed blood on the bathroom floor, wall and shampoo bottle. Blood on my headborad and pillow. Hair and stains in the tub. Called front desk. No manager on duty. Was told there were no other rooms available. I asked to have the room cleaned. Told there was no maintenance service at night. All the nearby hotels were booked. It was already midnight and I had my kids so I didn't want to drive around that late at night. Went to front desk. Was given a spray bottle with room freshener to clean my own room. My kids and I had to change the bedsheets and clean the bathroom ourselves. Requested a refund from tickets at work and have been getting the runaround for weeks. Was even told that I had to contact the hotel and get a written letter from the manager saying that they agreed to the refund. They are refusing to refund my money even after my kids and I were exposed to a possible health hazard.
