TheSignChef Vinyl lettering

This place is a farce! How can you jack up pricing from $692 to $2, 596 on vinyl lettering for a 26' truck? Last year I ordered 4 sets (2 small trucks, 2 large trucks) for less than $2, 200. Won't honor their pricing that I have available to me in my account. Won't be going back and won't be referring anyone here either! Don't bother to get anything in writing, if they decide to change their mind, they will just cancel your order. What a bunch of cr*p! This is what happens when a company forgets about the little guys and why they originally made it to what they are...forget about us and OVERCHARGE the multi-million dollar companies...they don't need our business anymore.

TheSignChef Very pleased

Everyone in our office is extremely pleased with the result of our new sign. It really adds a feeling of professionalism and class to our office that was aesthetically lacking before. Julie W., one of the customer service specialists, was the one working with me throughout the process. She was very accommodating with all of our different quote requests and knowledgeable of the products.

TheSignChef horrible customer service

I ordered a banner online from them. I needed to have 1' left on each side of the sign. I had them center one line of the banner and apparently they re-adjusted my sign so that there was no longer 1' left on the sides. They sent me a proof. I looked and saw that the line was centered that I had asked them to fix. It looked good so I sent the proof back as OK. I also ordered the banner with grommets every foot of the banner. It also says on my invoice grommets for every foot of 8' x 10' banner. I also ordered what color they called yellow. When I got my banner, it was neon green, only grommets on top and bottom and they had not left the 1' without lettering on the sides. This sign is now unusable because it won't wrap around my existing sign without losing the first and last letters of my business name. I can live with the color and I could even add the grommets myself, but I can't use the sign now. They offered to make another sign at a cost of $225 after I already paid $370 for the first one.

I AM aware that magnets should never be bent. They have NEVER been bent as I stated before. They have NEVER been off my truck except when it is washed. THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN FOLDED! You have been told that through e-mails and yet you say "I'm sorry you were not aware that this material is easily bent!"

You post the rating "up to 3 years" on this material. If that's the case, why did you offer a 10% discount ONLY? I'm not sending you the signs at my expense. I've sent the photos already. Perhaps you could forward those photos to the manufacturer and they will reimburse the materials to you and then you could redo my signs. I would be very appreciative of your efforts to rectify this situation.

It is horrible that they want to charge the customer for a new product when they are the ones that have passed off a bad product in the first place. I ordered magnet signs for my business truck one year ago and now the magnet has lost function in the center so that there is a little hill in the middle of my sign, it does not lay flat anymore. I sent pictures to a sign chef manager only to be told I must have folded my magnets! Who would fold their auto magnets? I put the magnets on the day I received them and they were not moved since. (One magnet on each side of my truck, both magnets are experiencing the same defect) Oh and of course the signs carry only a one year guarantee. I was offered a ten percent discount if I ordered a new sign! This company is not going to last with scruples like that. They are the same as thieves.
