Honey Baked Ham Honey baked Ham

We have been ordering Honeybaked hams for 40 years and we were very disappointed in the one we bought this year from your Boardman, Ohio store. The spiral slicing was only an inch and a half deep. My husband had to cut every slice of ham. We have never had a ham that bad before. There was also an extraordinary amount of fat on this one especially around the bone.

Honey Baked Ham Shipping

CAUTION!

Due to UPS shipping delays, there is no guarantee your order will arrive on time. The day before Thanksgiving, I received an email that my Thanksgiving dinner order would come AFTER Thanksgiving.

Also, they advised to THROW OUT THE MEAL because they cannot guarantee the quality of the product.

Honeybake Ham is refunding my credit card, but that does not help my disabled family member with Thanksgiving dinner.

I am trying to find something via Grubhub to deliver something today.

I am so frustrated since I ordered this weeks ago to avoid this scenario.

Honey Baked Ham Gift card with lesser amont $ I paid for it.

On 12/28/2020, I purchased an online $100 gift card. I used it on 11/22/2021. The card was only valued at $50. I went ahead and used it, but kept the card. I called customer service, but they did not help. They gave me an email to send copies of my transactions.
I have not heard from them. Calls placed to customer service state call cannot be completed. They shorted me $50.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of the $50 that they cheated me out off

Honey Baked Ham Shipping

I place the order last night at around 11pm. I follow every step to change the shipping address for the recipient and save it. When I push the button, the shipping address went back to the old one. At night they are close, today at 9am the costumer service is telling me all the supervisors are busy and she can't change the address or cancel the order. If I can wait they can call me back at a later time. I told her I can wait over the phone and it has been over 1 hour of no answer or anyone trying to assist me. I don't want my money back just cancel the order and let me get if from other place or just change the address on the package. The order number is: [protected].

Honey Baked Ham Quality of the ham

I purchased a large bone in ham at the Waldorf MD store 9/8/2021. OF course you are not allowed to look at the ham. I was told it was a fresh ham. Paid over $68 dollars for my ham. Brought it home and it had a wonderful appearance but it had no taste. It could of been a cheap store bought ham . There was no honey flavor or sweet taste that use to make these ham so delicious. I have been a loyal customer of Honey Baked Ham brand for over 30 years. I've never had a ham with no flavor .
So I found the contact email address to notify the company. I just received back from my email that it only covers California stores . They sent me a link for another form to be completed but it never open.
What a disappointment in customer service and overall commitment to the customer .
I would of accepted a gift certificate or a partial refund .

Honey Baked Ham Quality of product

The last 3 hams I have purchased have all had sections of black/burnt. I've been buying hams from honey baked for more years than I can count starting g in Ohio. I'm in Frisco Texas now. I'm very disappointed in the quality. Years ago they would never let a burnt ham go out. See photo. During pandemic you can't open the ham you have to walk to car or look at it when you get home.

Desired outcome: Just fix the issue/quality or I’ll stop buying hams.

Honey Baked Ham Ham and turkey breast

I purchased a 10lb spiral ham and two roasted turkey breasts for easter. I purchase the same for every holiday... Unfortunately the ham and the turkey breasts were so dry and disgusting and tasted horrible and old but I had no choice but to serve some of it as I had 12 guests for the holiday. I am so disappointed in this and now most likely will no longer be buying anything from honey baked. This was the worst money I ever spent.

Honey Baked Ham Salty ham ruined easter dinner

Just bought a Honey Baked Ham for Easter yesterday for $86 at your Willougby Store in Euclid Ohio... Ham is the most salty ham I've ever tasted! This was my first time buying a ham from the Honey Baked Ham company and I'm 66 years old! I've had them before at relatives home! This is my first time my experience is horrible, ruined my Easter Dinner

Honey Baked Ham Food, shipping, customer service

I have been ordering this as a Christmas dinner for my parents for a few years. However this year due to a computer glitch it was sent to me instead. I am grateful because I saw what I had been gifting. I spent close to $100 on the gift due to their website being down for so long they were out of nearly everything. I ordered a Turkey breast and 2 sides. The Turkey arrived it was a BAG OF SLICED PRESSED TURKEY THAT WAS THAWED! IT WAS A BAG OF ROTTEN MEAT! THAT ISN'T SAFE! I contacted them and they sent a rude so what email about the delivery being wrong. I sent another email regarding the BAG OF UNSAFE MEAT and didn't even receive a reply! They are a horrible company and sell horrible unsafe food!

Desired outcome: I would like a refund! However I don't see that happening!

So many complaints...don't know if it would have helped, but if it were me, I'd be notifying my county health department on unsafe food. I've been posting my experience on my social media accounts.

Honey Baked Ham Delivery

I spent $240.59 with this company for christmas gifts. The hams were not delivered. They won't answer the phone or respond to emails. Not sure what to do next! The order was placed on december 2, 2020, for 3 'quarter' hams. I have been calling every day. There is a recording to request a call back in 30 minutes... I've tried that 5 times. There is also a way to stay on hold... No one ever picks up. I've stayed on for as long as one hour!

Honey Baked Ham Service

Yesterday (12/16/20) I stopped a the Honey Baked Ham store on 250 NW John Jones Dr Suite 107, Burleson, TX 76028 around 1:00pm to pickup a couple of sandwiches. I had a coupon for 2 for 1 sandwich which had been honored in the past. The store was "empty of customers" and I my purchase with the coupon was turned down because of the Holidays.

Very poor practice during this trying times. Not only you lost a sale but possibly a customer.

Honey Baked Ham Terrible customer service

Ordered a ham for thanksgiving but, unfortunately, it arrived 5 days after thanksgiving in a destroyed box. I do not fault the company for a shipping error. My complaint is that from the day before thanksgiving and the days following to this present moment, they refuse to communicate and/or apologize for the situation I found myself in on thanksgiving with no ham.
I am a long time customer and this is unacceptable customer service. I received a notice of a refund but nothing from the company. I honestly believe that if I didn't do all the work to track down the ham I wouldn't have received a refund at all.

Honey Baked Ham Refused to complete my pre order turkey

I called and placed order on 11/19/20 at 10:45 am with Nicole, I ordered three turkeys and one ham. The store location is 14136 Pearl Road, Strongsville Ohio 44136, Phone - 440-846-4400. I was given a code 25-2566 with pick up at 10:30am on 11/25/20, When I arrived to pick up order was told could not give me my turkey unless paid on-line for it. I do not put my credit card information online. They told me on the phone because I pre-ordered the food would not be a problem. However walked out without my food and was told I could only have the ham. I am very upset, I have ordered from Honey Baked ham for Thanksgiving and Christmas every year and spend over 300.00 each time. Kyra at store # 8414 stated not there problem. I would hope that someone gets back with me. [protected]. I also order for my company as well. You could lose our business as well.

Honey Baked Ham Service

I visited your store in Wilmington NC on a number of occasions and I must say most of the employees are rude bordering on violent behavior.

Your employees are rude and barbaric and have no place being in a customer service job.

I asked to speak to the owner or the manager and both were out of town so you have a store with no one in charge manned by rude employees.

No wonder you have such bad reviews!

When I walked in the Novi, MI 48375 store, on Sunday, April, 26 about 3:40. there were 2 employees 1 behind the counter who had on a mask, the other employee was sweeping, and didn't have on a mask. I informed him he should have on a mask, he said you are right. Then the lady from behind the counter, got smart, rude and loud with me, she told me he shouldn't have a mask, I should have one on, which I told her I do have on a mask, then she refused to serve me. and told me I could go to another Honey bake Ham store. I just stood there and keep asking, her to ring me up, so she went in the back and told the young man to take care of me. I have to wait for the young man to go get his mask and put it on, in order to get sir she said she was not serving me. I ask for the manager she said she was the manager. I have never in my life had such bad service. I hope you a have camera in your store.

Honey Baked Ham ordered a ham and it wasn't delivered

Ordered a ham dinner for my sister on April 1st for delivery April 9th. The ham wasn't delivered. I tried to tracking link but I kept getting an error message. My sister didn't want to miss deliver so she stayed home all day. I tried to call the company to make sure there would be a delivery that day but I was told I was number 189 in line and it would be 177 minutes (just under 3 hours) to talk to someone. I emailed customer service and told them the link they emailed me to track the delivery through UPS wasn't working. I received an error message each time that listed 4 non existant tracking numbers different numbers. I emailed honeybaked again with my issue and the idiots actually sent me a copy of the first email with the same link that didn't work. All I asked them for was the tracking number so I could track it like they apparently were unable to do. I am still waiting for that tracking number. All I know is I have a confirmation that my sister's ham dinner was going to be there on April 9th, it is now the 10th and no ham for easter. She now has to go out in this viral infected public and purchase a ham dinner, if there is one to be found the day before easter. This company sucks but yet they were still advertising ham dinners all day on the 10th. Moral is, don't use them. They SUCK!

By the way, still waiting to hear from them after my third email with a screen shot of the error message I receive when I hit their tracking link. Just give me the tracking number because I can do anything better than those morans!

Honey Baked Ham customer service

I went to the Honeybaked Ham location on Menaul in Albuquerque, NM to purchase a ham the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. While in line 2 local firefighters came in to pick up an order for the station. The line was long so one asked since they pre-ordered did they need to wait in the long line. The cashier stated yes but would ask the manager. When the manager came he was rude and stated they needed to stand in line then turned around and walked to the back. These are our first responders and need to be shown respect. No one in line minded if they were waited on first. This will be the last time that I purchase from Honeybaked Ham.

Ordered a ham for Easter on April 7th. Received confirmation # [protected] ham would be delivered on Friday, April 10th between 6-7PM. On Saturday morning, ham had still not been delivered I called Customer Service. I was put on hold and told my call would be answered in 12 minutes and that I was #327 in the que. Two hours later when I had moved up to #210 in the que I was disconnected. I then went online and made three requests to try and figure out what happened to my delivery for my Easter ham. No response. Called three local HBH stores, their phones not in service. The following Wednesday I received an email from a survey company asking me how I liked my ham? I related the above and said I never received my ham. No response until yesterday April 17 when I received an e mail from Honey Baked Hams asking if my problem was resolved? This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Waiting for my credit card to be credited for the undelivered ham. Larry A Poway, CA

Just posted a complaint about a ham i bought before thanksgiving about lack of glazing, due to over curing/smoking and being too dried out from over curing, on that HBH complaint on web no way to post a photo. clearly a bad way to do business for a customer that has used your product since you opened in Knoxville TN

Honey Baked Ham order and delivery

So just 2 days before family arrives Honey Baked calls to says my order never made it out of UPS shipping it is being returned...order will NOT arrive and there is nothig they can do about it. This is the 3rd time this has happened with this company, they truly dont care it is all about the money and zero to do with customer satisfaction. Not worth the headache that this has caused. Very frustrating when they can not even give you a reason

Honey Baked Ham improperly made sandwich and the use of inferior products

And handicapped and I have to struggle with a walker to go into a facility so I go into the store and I have a BOGO coupon which is great because it's a treat for me and I order my favorite sandwich ham salad with lettuce and tomato and Hickory honey mustard for both sandwiches the same I even had a conversation with the associate who had brown hair and glasses and was young about how the labeling look different on the mustard but it looks like the same mustard I get my sandwiches after I pay and I go back out to my car and I drive away I pull out a half a sandwich take a bite and there's a very weird crunch so I looked down at my sandwich in my tomato is white with just a pink rim around it it is the most unripe tomato I have ever seen even after I told the associate how much I like tomatoes and be sure that they covered my whole sandwich she chose the most unripe tomatoes that she had to put on my sandwich I also did not have my Hickory honey mustard so I had driven a bit by now at pull over and I make the phone call and tell them about my own happiness and that my sandwiches just aren't my favorite sandwich if they're not made right so I tell them I'm going to come back for the very least some decent tomato slices and some honey mustard I even mentioned maybe they need to bring the bottle out to my car to squirt it on there and maybe leave the bottle with me for my time and trouble so I get to the store and they bring me out for slices wrapped in brown paper of tomato and to Hickory honey packets and that is all and I would think since this was something they did that made me unhappy about my favorite sandwich that they would at least spend the contents of a lunch box to make me happy like a small broccoli salad cookie potato chips maybe a soda anything to show that they cared about me and my order but there was nothing. So basically they did the very least possible to fix my sandwich without actually doing anything to make me happy and they didn't even fix my sandwich I had to fix my sandwich after I got home because they just gave me more ingredients. The ingredients that were previously ordered super disappointed as I don't get to go and have the street very often being someone on monthly benefits and being disabled. I did tell him I was going to meet them at the door and not get back out of my car with my Walker as how much trouble that is to do in so much pain.
