After diagnosing my dryer, I was quoted a repair costing over $1,400 and paid close to $900 deposit. Over the following months, the company repeatedly cancelled or missed scheduled appointments. When I finally hired another appliance repair company, the technician determined that the problem was a broken timer knob, temporarily fixed it during the visit, and the replacement part cost just over $100. This was a very different diagnosis from the extensive repair originally proposed.
Despite never completing the repair, the company refused to provide a reasonable refund
