So, we sign up for tekkie uni for two courses in the first year… it is kinda boring, and the knowledge is very basic really, but our daughter does attend and she even gets two certificates…

Just about when these two courses are ending, a course rep for the second year tries to sell us another course… I politely try to decline, but he offers us a great discount and he says that we can give it a try and if we don’t like it we can cancel anytime, at no additional cost… so we decide to enroll and pay for the first month.. this happened in May.

The new course started in September, our daughter attended the two first classes and decided she didn’t want to continue. So I cancelled the course. And this is where it started… Initially Tekkie Uni tried to brainwash me to stay. When this didn’t work they tried to bully me into paying a cancellation fee. When this didn’t work they simply charged my card the monthly fee, as if I never cancelled.

I just cancelled my bank card, and I strongly advise all potential customers to be extremely cautious when dealing with those people.

All in all, we spent like 1,500 € for 64 hours of extremely low level mouse moving accompanied by a nice British or Afrikaan accent, and we got bullied for wanting to leave. Then we just got robbed. The amount stolen is not big, 150-200€ in total (I paid for one month in May, then they charged me for two more in September and October… since our daughter attended only half a month, Tekkie Uni overcharged us 2,5 months at 65€/month). But now I know first hand that the people in Tekkie Uni are simple THIEVES. So again, let me warn you on this one simple thing… UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS, YOU WILL BET ROBBED.

My Child was normally taking the classes on weekly basis (noting that they never call me to report the achievement of my child or term report etc... nothing at all) until we decided to move on to another country and before doing that i asked them if we can normally continue the classes and they have confirmed that as long as you have internet we can continue our lessons, however, the system didn't in our new home for some technical reasons in their system and we couldn't finish the classes and the child missed more than 2 months because of that, when i requested to refund the fees of it they simply said you are not eligible for any discount or refund!

well, in my opinion they are simply a company who seeks to make money from people around the world regardless if students have got education results or not, as long as they earn money so all is good, other than that they don't care at all.

They have been advertising on Facebook that they are a company that teaches children from 10-14 for coding, helping with your YouTube channel.
I filled out the contact form as this is what I was looking for, they called me the next day and I now blame myself for being so silly as the man I spoke to was mumbling mist of the time had to keep asking what his saying. The man really convinced me so I gave him my details but the same night I realized its something I can not afford, first payment should be £65 that would be refundable if I change my mind and if I continue it would be £93 a month for 9 months so I decided not to go ahead they didn't get any money from MW which they wanted upfront, good thing I had no funds so I emailed them to cancel everything had no reply after 3 days so I called them [protected] first person I spoke to was a women straight away she knew everything I asked her how do you know who I am and I've given you no details, her reply was my number they have been around for 20 years and technology has improved hmmmm... Second sign of scam, she spoke very unprofessionally laughing etc... Said someone will contact me within an hour if they don't I should call back. Why couldn't she deal with it? Nobody contacted me so I called back the same number a man asnwers asking "who is this" I said to him is that how you answer a bussiness phone and he told me I had the wrong number and hung up, I called back straight away another man answered this one was a English man he also was unprofessional still telling me he can't deal with my issue, he will get someone to call me. I called back one more time a man answered, baring in mind none of them have answered as a business just "hello" I asked him if I can get an email confirming my cancelation and this man started arguing with me saying "you don't need one we know you have cancelled" then hung up on me. They are all from Israel, I have reported them on Facebook as scam and I hope more people see my complaint before they get in contact with these people. They claim they have been around for 20 years not much likes on their Facebook page its all dodgy go check their Facebook for yourself (Tekkie Uni) BIG SCAM!
