In May of 2025, I purchased a 254ce 12 string acoustic electric Guitar from
Rimmers music/ Spears music UK.
Although I purchased it over the phone I spoke to the sales several times before making this purchase, and played this in a store prior to purchase .
After only 7 months with very little play the top began to bulge around the bridge.
I spent 80GBP to send it back to spears for evaluation, they gave me some [censored] that the new c class guitars do actually bulge / lift up and recede. They offered to buy it back for 400GBP after I spent 1200
its virtually only been played a few times and its falling apart.
It is also a Made in Mexico version. I have written to Taylor without a response.
I own several other Taylors and am a American from San Diego living abroad, and I am astonished at the lack of customer service and the [censored] music shops that sell the Taylor brand now.
If I do not get a good result in the end I will get rid of this POS, and buy a better guitar. Very Very Very disappointed in the lack of quality and customer service.
