CMR Humansdorp purchases a TATA Telcoline Bakkie during March 2005 which we serviced on a regular basis (10000km - 31/3/05, 20000 - 12/2/2007, 30000km - 17/11/2008 and 42192 on 25/9/2009). The bakkie broke down with 47037km, only 4845km after the previous service and less than six months later. TATA Humansdorp gave us a quote for the amount of R19, 842.20. We had to wait approximately six months before recieving the bakkie back and paying R21, 869.15 for the repairs. Less than a year after these rapairs and less than 10, 000km further the bakkie broke down again. Quotation to repair was R21, 743.50 (Humansdorp). We had to tow the bakkie to TATA Port Elizabeth and waited almost three months to recieve it back. Less thant 100km further the bakkie broke down again, same symptoms as before. We made numerous calls to TATA (Ansie in Johannesburg - [protected] and Barbara Port Elizabeth - [protected], without any joy. We are becoming very irate with TATA who does not deliver and does not give any guarantee on their work. Please assist us with this matter.
