Sundance Sundance E-Gift Card Review: Delayed Delivery and Unwanted Emails

So, I gotta tell ya, I had a bit of a rough time with Sundance. I mean, I never thought I'd be reviewing a gift card, but here we are. I bought an E-gift card from them, because I was gonna get a physical one, but they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for shipping. I figured, hey, I've got 48 hours, I'll just get the electronic one and maybe find something else in the meantime.

But then, I waited and waited, and the site said it would ship within 24 hours, but customer service said it could take up to 48 hours because they only email once a day. What?! That doesn't make any sense to me. And then, I looked at some reviews and it turns out that delays like this are pretty common. One person even said they had to wait two whole weeks! Yikes.

And to top it all off, even though I specifically unchecked the box to not receive emails, they still sent me a bunch of "buy more" emails multiple times a day. Their excuse was that it's a busy time of year, but come on, other small businesses and big companies can handle it just fine.

I heard about Sundance from a friend and was thinking about using them for other gifts in the future, but now I'm not so sure. It's a shame, really, because they have some really cool stuff on their site. But if they can't even handle a simple gift card order, I don't know if I can trust them with anything else.

Sundance Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Sundance

I've been shopping at Sundance for a long time now, and I've never had any problems until this past year. In July, I ordered a bathing suit cover up and a top, but both were on backorder. Sundance gave me an estimated shipping date, but that date came and went without any updates. When I called to inquire about my order, they gave me another estimated shipping date. It took almost two months before I finally received my items, and by then, summer was already over! I was disappointed, but I decided to keep the items for the following summer.

Recently, I made another purchase from Sundance after Christmas. My husband had previously ordered a pair of boots for me as a surprise, so I decided to order a few more items. However, when I called to cancel the boots I ordered, I was told that they had already shipped. This was all within the same day! I was surprised that they had shipped so quickly, especially since I hadn't received a shipping confirmation. When I asked about it, the customer service representative told me that it should be coming in my email. But it took four days before I finally received the shipping confirmation, which said that the item had just shipped. I felt like the customer service representative had lied to me, and I was disappointed that they didn't try to help me find a solution.

Overall, I'm not happy with my recent experiences with Sundance. The July order took too long to arrive, and the recent order had poor customer service. I feel like they didn't care about my concerns and didn't try to help me find a solution. I'm sorry to say that I won't be shopping at Sundance anymore.

Sundance Disappointing Experience with Sundance: Overpriced, Missing Items, and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I was pretty excited to order from Sundance. I mean, they seem like a pretty legit company, right? So I ordered a couple pairs of earrings. The first ones came pretty quick, but honestly, they were kinda overpriced for what they were. And then, get this, the second pair never even showed up! I ordered them on December 2nd, and it's like they just vanished into thin air or something. But I really wanted those earrings, so I decided to keep the first ones and hope for the best.

Then, my husband ordered me a bunch of stuff for Christmas. And I gotta give it to Sundance, they actually managed to get everything to us in time! But one of the necklace charms I got keeps flipping over, which is super annoying. And the earrings I'm still waiting for are supposed to match that necklace. I got an email saying they were backordered and would be here around December 26th, which was fine. But then the status changed to January 18th, and I still haven't gotten them! I reached out to customer service, and they said they're still waiting on the artist or something. Like, come on, guys, get it together!

Honestly, if they knew these items weren't gonna be available, they should've said so when I placed my order. But instead, they just keep blaming the artists. I mean, I get it, things happen. But it's not like I'm gonna order from them again once I finally get my stuff. Maybe I'll just cancel the order altogether! So yeah, I'd say stay away from Sundance if you can.

Sundance Disappointing Experience with Sundance: Lost Diamonds, No Communication, and Backordered Shoes

So, my man got me this real fancy ring from Sundance for Christmas. It was super expensive and all, but then, two diamonds fell out! I was so bummed out, but they told me to send it back and they'd fix it up and send me an email to let me know when it was done. But guess what? No email came! So, I waited a week and a half and then called them up. They said they had it and were working on it, but still no email. Three weeks later, I called again, and they said they already shipped it back! But they didn't tell us or give us a tracking number or anything! And they shipped it to the wrong address! So now, I still don't have my ring because the USPS is still forwarding it to my new address.

Oh, and that's not all. I also returned this $100 ring that turned my finger green after just two days of wearing it. I wanted to get a pair of shoes instead. But guess what? A month later, I called to see where my shoes were, and they told me they were backordered until November 2019! Can you believe it? I ordered them in February 2019, and they didn't even bother to let me know! I was so mad, I told them to just cancel the order.

I don't think I'll ever shop at Sundance again. They lost my business forever.

Sundance Disappointing Quality and Inauthenticity: A Review of Sundance Clothing

When I first stumbled upon Sundance clothing, I was blown away by the unique styles they offered. I was tired of looking like everyone else in the department store, and Sundance seemed like the perfect solution. Sure, the prices were a bit higher than what I was used to, but I figured the one-of-a-kind designs would be worth it.

Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The pieces I ordered didn't feel substantial, and the clothing didn't fit correctly. I found myself constantly uncomfortable in the clothes I had spent so much money on. Even the boots, which I had been so excited to wear, caused me so much pain in my feet that I couldn't bear to put them on again.

To make matters worse, the clothing I received didn't look anything like the pieces in the photos. The colors were off, the fabrics were different, and the overall quality just wasn't there. I had always been lucky with finding clothes that fit me well, but these just didn't cut it.

The final straw came when I washed a sweater and one sleeve came out substantially tighter and longer than the other. It was clear that the quality of these clothes just wasn't up to par. I was done with Sundance.

It's a shame, really. I've always admired Robert Redford and his commitment to substance and integrity. But the quality of the clothing sold under his name just didn't match up to my expectations. I felt misled and used, like I had been sold a false image.

Most of the products on the Sundance website are labeled as imported from Italy, but they look more like they were inspired by Mexico. It's disappointing to see such a well-known brand fall short in terms of quality and authenticity. I wouldn't recommend Sundance to anyone looking for high-quality, well-made clothing.

Sundance Disappointing Experience with Sundance: Delayed Orders and Poor Communication

I recently had an experience with Sundance that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I ordered some items from their catalog back in February 2022, and immediately received an email saying that they wouldn't be available until May and August of the same year. At first, I thought this was just a back-order situation, but as time went on, I began to wonder if something more sinister was going on.

You see, I learned that these catalog shoots happen months before the catalogs are released. So, if I ordered something in February 2022, it's likely that the item was photographed back in October 2021. This made me wonder if Sundance was intentionally advertising items that they didn't actually have in stock, just to get people to place orders.

To make matters worse, I never heard anything from Sundance about the delay in my order. They promised to keep me updated if the delay was longer than expected, but my May date came and went without a word from them. It wasn't until I called to inquire about my order that I learned my new back-order date was June and August.

I understand that delays happen, but the lack of communication from Sundance was unacceptable. I felt like I had to chase them down just to get an update on my order. And to top it all off, the customer service representative I spoke with was less than helpful.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Sundance. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again in the future.

Sundance Sundance Review: Quality and Sizing Issues, Expensive Shipping, Poor Customer Service

I used to be a big fan of Sundance, and I've bought a lot of stuff from them over the years. I'm talking jewelry, clothes, bags, shoes - you name it. But I gotta say, the quality of their stuff has gone way downhill lately. And the sizing is all over the place - I never know what size to order, so I end up getting two and sending one back. And let's talk about shipping, shall we? It's crazy expensive, and it takes forever to get here. And if you want to return something (which I seem to be doing a lot lately), it's just as expensive and takes forever to get your money back. It's not just me, either - if you try to leave a review about the shipping, they won't even let you post it. And the prices are high, so you'd think they'd have good customer service, but they really don't. I've had some of the worst customer service experiences of my life with these guys. The only time I've ever had a good experience was when I talked to someone about a pair of men's moccasins that fell apart after a month - they sent me a replacement right away. But that's the exception, not the rule. The only reason I still buy stuff from Sundance is because I love Jes MaHarry's jewelry, and you can order it from her website instead. Trust me, it's a lot less hassle.

Sundance Sundance's Furniture Delivery and Customer Service: A Disappointing Experience

Sundance is a pretty good place to shop for clothes and handbags, but when it comes to ordering furniture, it's a different story. We decided to order a nightstand from their catalog, which promised white glove, in-home placement. However, when it arrived, it was inadequately packed and the legs were cracked. To make matters worse, it was just left on my front walk, and I had to find help to bring it inside during the winter.

When we contacted customer service, they were okay, but they messed up the replacement and charged us for both. To fix it, they needed to charge us a third time for some reason, which put over 1800 dollars of pending charges on my account. This meant that we couldn't use that money for other furnishings we needed for our new house. The charges eventually went away, but I had to make an extra call to push the matter.

The second nightstand arrived damaged as well, and the customer service rep acted like we were being suspicious. The legs were right up against the edge of the box with packaging, and they were cracked again. When I asked if they could pick it up or send it via a different shipping method, they quoted me a price that was equal to the three they already had on my account.

I really wanted to like Sundance, but their logistics seem to be lacking. In the end, I went to Wayfair instead and found a very similar piece that was packed extremely well. It's a shame that Sundance couldn't deliver on their promises, but at least I found what I needed elsewhere.

Sundance Frustrating Return Experience with Sundance: A Disappointing Customer Service Story

I recently had an experience with Sundance that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had received a pair of boots as a Christmas gift, but unfortunately they were the wrong size. I was excited to exchange them for the correct size, but the process ended up being a huge hassle.

First, I had to pay to return the boots myself, which was a bit of a bummer. I followed all of the instructions and sent the boots back with tracking and insurance, but then I didn't hear anything for weeks. I read on their website that it could take up to six weeks to resolve a return, which seemed like an awfully long time to me.

When I finally contacted them after six weeks had passed, they acted like they had never heard of me or my return. I had to provide all sorts of details, like the order number and the specific name of the product (even though they were just boots!). It was frustrating to have to keep track of so much information just to return a pair of shoes.

Eventually, I found out that the money had been credited back to the person who had given me the gift, not to me. I didn't receive any email or notification about this, so I was left in the dark. I was out the cost of shipping and I didn't even get my Christmas gift in the end.

Overall, I was really disappointed with Sundance's return policy and customer service. It took way too long to resolve my return and I felt like I had to jump through a lot of hoops just to get my money back. On the plus side, their prices are decent and the quality of their products seems to be hit or miss. But I wouldn't recommend shopping with them if you're looking for a hassle-free return experience.

Sundance Disappointing Service and Shipping Experience with Sundance - A Review

I recently made a purchase from Sundance on November 28th. The estimated delivery date was December 5th, but I had to pay a shipping and handling fee that was approximately 20% of my purchase, which I found to be ridiculous. However, I received a notification that my item had been shipped and would now arrive on December 9th. I was surprised to find out that the item was only a 25-minute drive from my house, yet it would take four more days to arrive. I checked the tracking information again today, and the item is now in a different suburb, still only 25 minutes away from my house, but it won't arrive until December 12th. Seriously?! It's taking 14 days to deliver something from Utah to Denver, CO?

I decided to call customer service to see if they could help me with this issue. The person who answered the phone sounded like they were either hungover, still sleeping, or just depressed. It was difficult to communicate with them, and I spent about 15 minutes on the phone waiting for them to find out if someone could help me. In the end, they told me that they didn't know why it was taking so long, and that I could wait until December 12th to see if it arrives. If it doesn't, I could cancel my order. "That's another option," they said.

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from Sundance. Although they have cute stuff, it's overpriced, and their service is terrible. Robert Redford has made all the money he wants, and it seems like he doesn't care about his customers at all. I won't be ordering from Sundance again, and I'm cancelling my catalog subscription. There are too many other wonderful options out there to put up with this kind of service.

Sundance Catalogs

Don't ever give them your address.
My bad, I gave it to them to get a refund, now I don't know how to get rid of their endlessly arriving catalogs. By this day I got 30 catalogs from them and I feel it's not the end, it's only the beginning of this mess. So tired of it.
And no, contacting customer service doesn't help. They say they deleted your address, but then you find their catalog again. Again. And again.
What a nightmare!
I will never order anything from your stupid catalogs, it's just a matter of principle.

What you could do is to regularly order from them; then return everything. Then, call and complain about something to their customer service manager. You could do as I did, and point out to her that you do not appreciate her speaking to you as she would an employee, as you are a CUSTOMER. This is what I did. She subsequently (immediately) cancelled me as a customer, and I stopped receiving catalogues. Not by choice, but that is what happened. The trade-off would be that you cannot/may not be able to order their merchandise, but at least you won't have to worry about receiving catalogues anymore!

Sundance Terrible service and staff

I am so angry and I will never buy anything from them again! SundanceCatalog are the worst people and I don't want to deal with them in the future. I was promised a discount as a first time customer and did not receive it. They charged the full price and when I contacted them and told about the discount they claimed that they never offered me anything. Their rep was really nasty and he refused to give me their manager's contact details. It took me a lot of time and nerves but I finally was able to reach their manager and got my discount.
These people don't keep their own promises and I hate the fact that I had to deal with everything myself! I never had such a terrible service! Avoid!

I completely agree. I have never encountered such terrible treatment of loyal customers by any other company. They will cancel you as a customer if you return too many of their items, even if you've been a customer for years. Their customer service manager appears to treat men and women differently. She will tell you that returns are very costly to process, but the customer pays shipping to and from, and it is not cheap for small packages such as jewelry, which means they are probably making money from the shipping. I have actually had, on more than one occasion, had them pretend to take and process an order, and then they didn't do anything; I never received it (I guess they think it acceptable to lie to someone on the phone), which makes them appear to be sadistic. So weird. They have the use of the customer's money until their long returns process is finished. As someone else commented, we can't believe that someone like Robert Redford would continue to be associated with this company. They basically appear to blame the customer if he/she doesn't like the merchandise, which is a ridiculous notion. Over the years, I have purchased multiples of the same item for family and friends, and now feel that I need to tell every one of these people to never shop with Sundance catalog, so that none of them ever need feel as foolish as I have to have trusted that they have any regard for any customer.

Sundance I do not recommend this website

I have ordered some clothing from SundanceCatalog online store and when I received my order I was very disappointed with the quality. Items looked absolutely nothing like pictures on their website and were not worth the price. When I contacted SundanceCatalog customer service they said they were ready to refund my money if I was that dissatisfied with my order. So I sent everything back hoping to get a refund but since then heard nothing from them. They do not reply, they did not refund me and I have no idea what is going on. I do not recommend this site!

Sundance So disappointed.

I ordered leggings from SunDanceCatalog as a gift for my sister and when they finally arrived the size was incorrect. So I contacted their customer service and asked for a bigger size. After I sent the leggings back I was promised to get an exchange within 7-14 business days. Then they just refunded me and never sent a bigger size leggings. I'm glad that I got my money back, but my sister really liked the leggings and was very upset. I'm very disappointed and I guess I'll never order anything from them again.

Sundance Really bad company

I received a catalog from Sundance and ordered over $800 worth of clothing and footwear. I also spent $30 on shipping. I received my order, but had to send everything back because everything I go was horrible! I can't believe I spent $800 on those ugly looking things. They sent me the wrong sizes and everything was made from cheap material. I called them and told about my decision. But their agent very rudely responded that they will accept anything back. Very rude customer service agent! But I did not care about what he said, so I bought a huge box and sent everything back to them. We were arguing for two month, I think. But I finally got my money back! But it was a real nightmare and headache! I bet all those positive reviews are fake! This company does not understand their customers. I think this company should not exit!

Sundance Still no order. Problems with the delivery

People, stay away from the company www.sundancecatalog.com. I have ordered two gifts from them, but I indicated that I needed them within one week. And the seller replied and confirmed the purchase, and he told me that the order was sent on the same day. But in the end of the week, I received nothing. How is it possible? Please, help me to solve this problem, because the seller suddenly stopped to reply to my emails.

Don’t buy from the website www.sundancecatalog.com. I placed large order on the website and paid about $30 for the express delivery, but these jerks provided horrible and poor-quality things. I spent another $30 for the return postage, but these jerks still haven’t returned my money back. These people are scammers and liars, who take money and provide bad-quality things.
