My 4-week experience at Suncloud was marred by several disturbing issues:

Medication Errors: Nurses repeatedly attempted to administer the wrong medications, and on occasion, there were significant delays in obtaining essential meds, leaving patients without proper treatment.

Neglected Hygiene/Bioharzards: The shower facilities were left in a deplorable state, with a nicotine patch remaining affixed to the wall throughout my stay. My attempts to address this with staff were dismissed.

Privacy Violations: Certain treatment coordinators irresponsibly shared explicit details of past patients' traumas, including sensitive information about sexual experiences.

Missed Activities: Due to inadequate staffing, many scheduled activities were routinely canceled, despite Suncloud's monthly charge of $50,000.

Safety Concerns Ignored: Both staff and fellow patients frequently expressed feelings of insecurity. Shockingly, these concerns were met with indifference and dismissal from upper management.

Ongoing Gaslighting: Throughout my stay at Suncloud, I often felt as though my experiences and emotions were invalidated. When I inquired about other PHP programs upon my discharge, I received a discouraging and unsupportive response.

Fortunately, I have since found a remarkable PHP program where I am finally receiving the help and support I need.

Don't go to SunCloud Health - they'll try to take your money when you're not feeling good. My partner went there for mental health help and one of the counselors let other patients be mean to her in a group. She told three different staff members that she was leaving that same day. But they're saying she had to give 48 hours notice before leaving. They're trying to make us pay for three days of appointments that she missed because of this. It's so dumb! If you want to leave the program, they make you pay for two more days of treatment. You have to pay with insurance or your own money. It's really hard to get in touch with their billing department by email or phone. Don't go to SunCloud Health!

So, I went to SunCloud Health to start my intake process. I gave them my driver's license, but then I saw that their facility was in bad shape. The exam room had mud on the floor, the equipment wasn't working right, and there were bugs crawling around. When I told the staff member, they said they didn't see any bugs. I was so shocked by the state of the place that I decided to leave. But then I realized they hadn't given me back my license. That was on July 1st, 2022. I've been trying to get it back ever since. They said they'd send it to another facility I went to, but it never arrived. I've called them many times, but they don't answer or call me back. It's crazy that they won't give me my license back. I even called the police, but they couldn't do much. So now I'm filing a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com.
