I had internet only at our old address a year ago and due to not being able to get recent news, was not able to use my roku. When we moved from one address to another, we kept the internet but was charged a fee to get it set up at our new address. Still unable to get recent news using my roku so I called suddenlink to get cable. They said the cost would be $150.00 plus an additional $25.00 installation fee. So I said okay. After not being able to connect to the internet on our iphones, I called and could not talk to a live person to resolve the issue. The technician had given me an incorrect password so I tried to resolve the issue at their office to no avail. I talked to the outside guard for 15 minutes before she agree to allow me in the office so she could use her computer and did not help me. So I called the company and made an appointment for a phone call to resolve my issues, after being on hold for 10 minutes, someone came on the line and after he set me up with a technician to come out several days later, we got disconnected. He did not bother to call me back so I called back and waited on hold for 40 minutes for a live person. He said the internet and tv connection should be $280.00 a month. That is price gouging. We are all pretty much stuck at home.
