Subco Unwanted Magazine Subscription by Subco: A Review of Privacy and Ethics

So, I gotta say, I've been getting these People Magazines for like a month now and I'm not too happy about it. Like, I never signed up for this and I don't even read them. They just go straight to the trash. And get this, I found out that Subco is the one who set up this subscription without even asking me! Like, what the heck?

I mean, seriously, how did they even get my name and address? And why did they think it was cool to just go ahead and sign me up for something I didn't even want? It's just not right, you know?

I'm thinking about reporting them to the Better Business Bureau if they don't give me a good explanation. Like, I'm not trying to be a Karen or anything, but this is just not cool. I just want to know what's going on and why they thought it was okay to do this without my permission.

So, yeah, if you're thinking about using Subco for anything, you might want to think twice. They don't seem to care about people's privacy or preferences.

Subco Unsolicited Magazines from Subco - A Frustrating Experience

So, I gotta tell ya, I'm not too happy with Subco right now. I mean, I just got hit with three US weekly magazines and a Vanity Fair out of nowhere! Like, what the heck, man? I called up US weekly to see what was going on and they told me it was all Subco's doing. So, I called up Subco to get some answers, but they were closed. Figures, right?

I'm gonna try calling them again tomorrow, but I gotta say, I'm pretty ticked off about this whole thing. I mean, how did they even get my info in the first place? And why are they sending me all these magazines? I didn't ask for this, and I sure as heck don't wanna be charged for anything.

If Subco doesn't give me some answers soon, I'm gonna have to take some serious action. This is not cool, guys. Not cool at all.

Subco Subco (subco.com) Review: Terrible Customer Service and Shady Business Practices

This company, Subco (subco.com), is not a good choice for ordering magazines. They seem to be more interested in making a sale than in providing good customer service. I had a bad experience with them recently when I ordered some magazines. I specifically asked for them to be in English, but when they arrived, they were in Spanish! I don't speak Spanish, so I couldn't even read them. When I contacted Subco to ask for a refund or a replacement, they were not helpful at all. They refused to correct their mistake and just told me to deal with it.

I was very frustrated with this situation and decided to contact the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to report Subco's bad business practices. I don't think anyone should order from this company, as they clearly don't care about their customers. They just want to make a quick buck and move on to the next sale.

To make matters worse, when I contacted People Magazine to ask about my order, they told me that Subco was the company that had placed it. I was shocked and disappointed that People Magazine would work with such a shady third-party seller. They didn't offer me any help or support, and just told me to call Subco myself.

Overall, I would not recommend Subco to anyone. They are a side hustle that doesn't care about their customers or the quality of their products. If you want to order magazines, I suggest finding a more reputable seller who will treat you with respect and provide good customer service. Don't waste your time or money on Subco.

Subco Fraudulent Practices: My Frustrating Experience with Subco and People Magazine Subscription

I recently had an experience with Subco (subco.com) that left me feeling quite frustrated. When I arrived home one day, I found a People magazine in my mailbox. I was surprised to see it, as I had never subscribed to the magazine before. I immediately contacted People magazine to inquire about the subscription, but they were unable to tell me who had paid for it. All they could tell me was that Subco had authorized the subscription.

I was quite upset by this, as I had no idea who had paid for the subscription or why they had done so. When I asked the People customer service representative to cancel the subscription, she was able to do so, but still could not tell me who had paid for it. She explained that she did not have access to payment records and did not have a supervisor I could speak to.

I found this to be quite scammy on the part of both People and Subco. It seems that they are not being transparent about who is paying for these subscriptions, which is very concerning. I will be keeping a close eye on my credit card statements to ensure that I am not charged for this subscription, and I will be disputing any charges that do appear.

Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience with Subco. It is clear that they are not operating in an honest and transparent manner, and I would caution others to be wary of doing business with them. I am giving them one star for their fraudulent practices.

Subco Exceptional Customer Service from Edward at Subco Clearing House

I gotta say, I had a pretty good experience with Subco Clearing House. I called 'em up 'cause I got this magazine subscription I didn't order and I was pretty ticked off about it. But then I talked to this guy named Edward and he was super professional and knew his stuff. He even treated me with respect, which is more than I can say for a lot of customer service reps I've talked to in the past.

Honestly, I wish more people were like Edward. He actually cared about helping me out and didn't just try to cut me off or dismiss me like I was some kind of annoyance. I was so impressed with him that I even told his supervisor, Allysha, how great he was.

It's a shame that good customer service seems to be such a rarity these days, but I'm glad that Subco has at least one gem of an employee. Keep up the good work, guys!

Subco SubCo's Dishonest Scam: How They Illegally Obtained My Banking Information for Cosmo Magazine Subscription

I am absolutely livid with SubCo! They have somehow managed to get hold of my banking information and have started sending me Cosmo Magazine, which I have absolutely no interest in whatsoever. As someone in their 70s on a fixed income, I would never have subscribed to this magazine, so I am completely baffled as to how they managed to get hold of my details in the first place.

I am absolutely convinced that this company is nothing but a bunch of dishonest scammers, and I am absolutely furious that they have been able to get away with this. I mean, how many other companies or people have my bank information? This has to be illegal, and I am seriously considering pressing charges against them.

When I finally managed to get in touch with Cosmo, they told me that a 3rd party business named SubCo had purchased a subscription to their magazine in my name, using my bank information. I mean, how scammy and crooked is that? I am extremely upset and feel completely violated by this whole experience.

I would strongly advise anyone out there to stay well clear of SubCo and their dodgy practices. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks who are out to scam innocent people like me out of their hard-earned money. So if you value your financial security and peace of mind, then I would strongly advise you to steer well clear of this company.

Subco Unwanted Magazine Subscriptions and Privacy Violation by Subco: My Experience and Demands

I tried to call Subco and they hung up on me. I have some questions that I need answers to. First, I want to know how and where they got my information. They have my full name, address, and zip code, and I never gave them permission to have it. Second, I am receiving multiple magazine subscriptions that I never signed up for. I want to know why they are sending me these magazines. Third, I want to know if I have been charged for these subscriptions. If I have, I will take legal action against Subco.

Subco needs to remove all of my information from their system immediately. This includes my name, address, and any other data they may have taken without my consent. They also need to tell me where they got my information from. Consumer laws require them to provide me with this information.

I am very unhappy with Subco's behavior. They have violated my privacy and sent me unwanted magazines. I will not stand for this kind of treatment. If they do not comply with my requests, I will take legal action against them. I hope that they will do the right thing and remove my information from their system.

Subco Unsolicited Magazine Subscriptions and Stolen Information: My Experience with Subco

I tried to call Subco but couldn't get through. I have some questions that I need answers to. First, how and where did you get my information? I'm talking about my full name, address, and zip-code. Second, why am I receiving magazine subscriptions that I never signed up for? And third, have I ever been charged for these subscriptions?

I demand that you remove all of my information from your files immediately, including my name, address, and any other data that you might have stolen. It's important that you tell me exactly where you got this information from. According to consumer laws, you are required to provide this information to me.

The only time I've ever received magazines was when it was some kind of scam. I certainly didn't authorize GQ magazine. You need to stop your scamming practices and be more transparent with your customers.

Sincerely,

Chris Ford

Subco How to Cancel an Unwanted Men's Health Magazine Subscription: My Experience with SUBCO

So, I've been getting Men's Health magazine for a while now, and I have no idea who signed me up for it. I mean, I'm almost 70 years old, so I'm definitely not the target audience. I usually just toss the magazine in the trash without even looking at it. I don't even subscribe to magazines, so this is really annoying. I tried contacting Men's Health directly to cancel the subscription, but they told me that they couldn't do it. Apparently, the subscription was initiated by a company called SUBCO. I had never heard of them before, but I was determined to find out who they were and how to cancel this subscription.

After some digging, I finally found contact information for SUBCO. They're located at 653 W Fallbrook Ave Suite 101 in Fresno, CA. Their phone number is ***350, and their email is ***@subco.com. They also have a website at www.SUBCO.com. I'm planning on calling them first thing on Monday to cancel this subscription. I never authorized it, and I want to know who is paying for it.

If you're in the same boat as me, I wish you luck in canceling your subscription. Hopefully, this information will be helpful to you. And to SUBCO, if you're reading this, please cancel my subscription ASAP!

Subco My Experience with Subco: Frustration and Violation of Personal Information

I recently had an experience with Subco, a magazine clearinghouse, that left me feeling frustrated and violated. For the past three years, I have been receiving magazine subscriptions from Southern Living, Good Housekeeping, and Cosmopolitan magazines. Despite my attempts to cancel these subscriptions, I was told that they were subscribed for me through an agency and that I would need to contact them to cancel.

After some persistence, I was finally given the name of the agency responsible for these subscriptions: Subco. I immediately contacted them and expressed my anger and frustration at the fact that my personal information had been used without my consent. I even threatened to press charges against them.

To my surprise, Subco responded to my complaint with an explanation of how the subscriptions were obtained. They informed me that the magazines were sent to me as a Paid Special Offer subscription and were entered into Subco for processing by an independent sales agency named Millennium Marketing. This agency had sent me the magazines in the hopes that I would enjoy them and potentially subscribe after their promotional terms. Subco assured me that there was no billing for these subscriptions and that they would not automatically renew.

While I appreciated the explanation, I couldn't help but feel violated by the fact that my personal information had been used without my consent. It was frustrating to learn that yet another agency was involved in sending me these magazines, and I couldn't help but feel like this was a form of fraud.

In response to this experience, I have reported Subco to the Federal Trade Commission, The Better Business Bureau, and the State Attorney General's Office for the state of Virginia. I believe that it is wrong for agencies to gather personal information on people and use it for financial gain, and I hope that my actions will help to prevent this from happening to others in the future.

Overall, my experience with Subco was not a positive one. While they did provide an explanation for the subscriptions, I still feel violated by the fact that my personal information was used without my consent. I hope that this review will serve as a warning to others who may be considering using Subco or similar services.

I recently started receiving People magazine, under my maiden name, I have been married 10 years! I have never read People magazine nor have any reason to have any subscriptions out there. I called People magazine to find out why I am getting this and they said I needed to contact Subco to cancel this, I have not even heard of Subco! I have not been able to get through and want this cancelled. I do not know why or how this is being paid for and I hope charges do not show up on my checking account for something I did not give consent to order, espeically in my maiden name! This subscription needs cancelled right away!

I ordered a magazine, US, but when they sent me the email, it was digital. I don't care to read magazines or much of anything digital. I requested that they send me non-digital. They were very quick to get back to me. I couldn't get US as non-digital but they offered me several others that weren't digital so I ordered one of them. Everything went very smoothly and quickly. A great transaction.

I contacted Subco because a magazine started showing up that my wife or I would've subscribed to. I received a prompt response from Franz at Subco requesting additional information. I provided the information and again Franz provided a quick response and explained how the subscription started. It was a promotional subscription at no cost to us but was not a magazine we would read. Franz canceled the subscription. I know magazine clearing houses get bad reviews but I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Franz and Subco.

Subco I began receiving a People Magazine subscription that I never ordered

I began receiving a People Magazine subscription that I never ordered. I called the 800 number for People Magazine, and was told that they can only suspend the delivery, and to contact a third party named Subco who initiated the order. They gave me an 800 number for Subco, I tried to call, and it got a shady Medical Alert device recording. To Subco: Cease and desist sending me People Magazine or any other magazine subscription, or any other promotional products. Put both my name and household address on your Do Not Mail list. Do not charge or bill me for any products or I will take legal action. This is completely fraudulent.

I too am receiving a Vogue magazine which I never requested! What kind of business are you running here? It seems I am not the only one to complain about receiving a magazine I never ordered. One would think that if you received this many complaints that are the same as mine, you would fix the issue. I think the Complaintsboard.com needs to put a stop to this problem. STOP sending this magazine or any other one and if there is a charge remove it!

We started to receive the People Magazine in September (which we never purchased) I called People magazine customer service, like others here they referred me to SUBCO. I have now spent over 2 hours on hold trying to resolve this problem with no success. When I finally was able to get a hold of them they were kind enough to cancel this mailing. They said the magazines were being sent out as promotional gifts in hopes I would purchase them later on. Honestly, if it has said "promotional issue" somewhere on the label I would not have lost have my day trying to run down who sent this to me. Please change your policy on this activity.

I received an unsolicited subscription to People magazine (transferred from an unsolicited Shape magazine subscription). I cancelled the subscription at both People and SUBCO. Jonel at SUBCO was able to tell me the subscription was generated by RewardBee, a marketing firm. He indicated that there is no indication that I will be charged for the subscription. I will contact RewardBee. Jonel was very helpful.

I called Cosmopolitan and was told they could not cancel but that I had to contact SUBCO who originated the subscription and gave me the phone number if the Fresno CA office. I have not as yet been able to reach them but will continue to try. I am very unhappy that someone has my name and address and is sending me unsolicited material!

I recently began receiving unsolicited People magazines and the mailing label indicates a one year subscription. I called People to cancel and inquired who authorized the subscription. They referred me to Subco and provided a phone number (which no one answers). I demand to know who/what company initiated this subscription fraudulently in my name and whether any of my financial information or credit card number was utilized. Clearly Subco must have this information and is cooperating with a Third Party. I intend to file an FTC complaint if I do not received a satisfactory and timely answer. The subco.com website indicates an A+ Complaintsboard.com rating, which appears to be another misrepresentation. Complaintsboard.com should address this.

I began receiving People magazine which I never subscribed to. I have been directed to 2 places to cancel this scam. I am trying to research whether they have stolen money from my account. If anyone has evidence of them stealing money please let others know here to help them. My bank is helping me to research. I will also be sending my complaint to the my congressman since this seems to be happening to a lot of people. I don't trust Google or Facebook since they have been known to sell your information.

I started receiving "People" magazine about 8 - 10 weeks ago. I had NOT ordered it, nor did I want it. I found another issue in my mailbox today, so I called the number listed and asked why I was getting a magazine that I had not subscribed to, and had better not be paying for. The lady at People told me it was being sent by a third party, that I was not paying for it, and that the subscription had been canceled. I should not be getting anymore. She gave the the name "Subco" and a 1-800 number. I didn't call it, but looked it up online and found that others have had the same problem. (If you're going to send me something that you hope I'll subscribe to, you should consider sending something that I might actually be interested in!)

I called People to find out more info and have them cancel my subscription. They said Subco is the 3rd party that is responsible for activating the account. I called the phone number 1*** subco customer service but there is no answer and it just hangs up. I want Subco to close the account. I want them to send me a letter stating that I do not owe any money on the acct. I also want to know who authorize the subscription. I see a lot of complaints on Complaintsboard.com from other people that are in the same situation as me. Subco is sending magazines subscription without our consent or knowledge. This seems to be a very dishonest business.

I was fraudulently subscribed to four magazines without my permission and charged without my authorization: Eating Well, Midwest Living, Food & Wine, and -- preposterously -- Parents (I am in my 60s with no children). This outfit clearly expects unsuspecting consumers to fail to notice the unauthorized charges to their credit cards. I had been throwing away the unwanted magazines and only happened to look up the mailing information when this became a nuisance. I was astonished to see that I was being charged. The publisher, Midwest Living, denied responsibility and pointed the blame to Subco. My message to them was unanswered. I see online that there are legions of complaints about this business, nearly all reporting fraudulent subscriptions. This outfit needs to be shut down.

Subco I have been receiving unsolicited magazines since 2012 and have been having charges for these automatically posted to my credit card

I have been receiving unsolicited magazines since 2012 and have been having charges for these automatically posted to my credit card. I've made several attempts to cancel these to no avail. The only way that I can think that they actually got my information was that I did subscribe to 2 magazines for my Mother who was bedridden to have something to read everyday. When she passed in 2012, I cancelled her subscriptions which was no problem but then I started receiving 2 other magazines that I had not asked for in my Mother's name. I have made several attempts via telephone but still continued to receive magazines and being charged monthly for them. I finally e-mailed the 2 magazines that I have been receiving and they advised me that SUBCO was responsible for my subscriptions. I have contacted the company and am awaiting a response from them. Do not cancel over the phone, it will not work. Anyone using this company, BEWARE!

Subco I had a ShoeDazzle subscription and accidentally refreshed the page to unselect my previous choice of a magazine subscription

I had a ShoeDazzle subscription and accidentally refreshed the page to unselect my previous choice of a magazine subscription. I got subscribed to the wrong magazine, immediately got given this company's number to update the choice and was told "I was not in the system", then to call back later after it had been processed. I called back again weeks later to still be told that I wasn't found. Both companies kept telling me to go back and forth for assistance with this. Finally, I was told to wait until I got my first magazine to call back to get it changed. The day has come when I've received the first magazine! I gave all my information and was found in the system, but now to be told that there is nothing that can be done on their end, only to change the address and cancel the magazine. I can't believe customer service from both companies has been so incompetent and apathetic for the entire time I've been trying to get some sort of assistance. This company is a waste of time. They need better customer service.

Subco I began receiving People magazine with my name and address on the label

I began receiving People magazine with my name and address on the label. The line below my name was a "customer service" toll free number, wonder why? I have no intention of calling a customer service number for a scam subscription I never ordered, so the perpetrator can log my phone number and continue attempting to scam me. A caller cannot hide their phone number from a toll free number, in case this fact was not known, umber suppression does not work on toll free numbers. I called People magazine and was told since this was a third party subscription, that I would need to contact a company called SUBCO, whoever that is. I refused SUBCO number from People magazine, and told the representative why I would not contact a scammer. I don't feel that it is appropriate for me to deal with some fraud company that is deliberately attempting to scam me, and apparently thousands of others based on what I see in a Google search of their company name "SUBCO" and "unwanted magazine subscription". Again, I NEVER subscribed to People magazine, now or EVER, and further, I do not subscribe to any magazines.

Subco Subco: Violating Privacy Rights by Ordering Magazines Without Consent

Subco is a company that orders magazines for people without their permission. This is a big problem because they are using people's private information without their consent. It's a violation of privacy rights and it's not okay. This company needs to be investigated and held accountable for their actions.

If you've ever received a magazine in the mail that you didn't order, it's possible that Subco is behind it. They have access to people's personal information and they use it to order magazines on their behalf. This is not only unethical, but it's also illegal.

It's important to note that any response generated by Subco is not accepted. They need to take responsibility for their actions and stop what they're doing immediately. Consumers have the right to privacy and they should be able to trust that their personal information is being used appropriately.

If you've been a victim of Subco's actions, it's important to speak up and report them. This type of behavior cannot be tolerated and it's up to us as consumers to hold companies accountable for their actions. Don't let Subco get away with violating your privacy rights.

Subco Subco Magazine Subscription Review: A Sketchy Scam with Hidden Agendas

So, I had an experience with Subco and I gotta say, it wasn't great. They sent me some magazines that I didn't really want, and it seemed like they were trying to make it difficult for me to cancel. I mean, you can only cancel by phone or email? That seems a bit sketchy to me. And then, to top it off, they try to capture more information on you to sell to other companies. I mean, come on, that's just not cool. And the worst part is, you won't even know it's from them. It's like they're trying to hide something.

I had to go through a whole process just to figure out that it was Subco that was sending me these magazines. And now, I'm just hoping that they actually cancel my subscription and that I don't get a bill for something I didn't even want in the first place. It's just a big ol' scam if you ask me.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Subco to anyone. It's just not worth the hassle and the potential for your information to be sold to other companies. Stick with a more reputable company that doesn't try to pull these kinds of shenanigans.

Subco Subco Magazine Scam: Beware of Unauthorized Charges and Unwanted Mail

Subco is a company that has been sending me magazines for the past two years without my permission. I don't know how they got my credit card number, but they did. After several calls, they finally gave my money back, but I am still receiving these magazines, and they are stuffing my mailbox. I have been trying to get them to stop, but every time I call, I am put on hold for what seems like forever. I would not recommend talking to these people or dealing with them in any way. It has been a frustrating experience dealing with Subco, and I hope that others can avoid this situation.

Subco Subco: A Sketchy Company That Sends Unwanted Subscriptions Without Consent

So, I had this weird thing happen where I got a magazine in the mail that I didn't even order. I was pretty confused and annoyed, so I decided to contact the publisher to put a stop to it. But, get this, they told me that I couldn't cancel the subscription because it was actually sent by Subco. What the heck, right? I mean, who even are these guys?

Honestly, I think Subco is a pretty sketchy company. It seems like they just send out stuff to people without even asking if they want it or not. That's not cool, man. I mean, who has time to deal with cancelling something they never even asked for in the first place? It's just a waste of time and energy.

If Subco actually cared about their customers, they would make sure to contact them first and see if they're interested in the product or service. But no, they just go ahead and send stuff out willy-nilly, without any consideration for the people on the receiving end. It's pretty frustrating, to be honest.

Overall, I would definitely not recommend Subco to anyone. They seem like a pretty shady company, and I wouldn't trust them with my personal information or anything like that. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy company to do business with, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Subco Frustrated with Unwanted Magazines from People: A Review of Subco's Customer Service

So, I've been getting these magazines from People, and I didn't even ask for them. I tried calling Subco a few times, but no one ever picked up. I even sent an email like 4 days ago, and I still haven't heard back from anyone. It's kind of frustrating, you know? I just want to talk to a real person and get this sorted out. Like, can someone please get in touch with me? I included some requests in my email, and I really hope they can help me out. It's not like I'm asking for anything crazy, I just want to stop getting these magazines that I didn't even sign up for.

Subco Frustrating Experience with Subco: Unwanted Women's Health Subscription and Poor Customer Service

I recently received the first issue of a six-month subscription to Women's Health, which I never subscribed to. As a retired male, I have zero interest in this magazine. To my surprise, the magazine had my address, but was addressed to "Dronal Trump". I have no clue where that came from, but it's definitely not my name.

When I tried to call Women's Health to sort out this issue, I was directed to call Subco. However, every time I called, I was greeted by someone trying to push a medical alert system on me. I had no interest in this and told them so, but each time the person hung up on me. This is not good customer service at all.

Overall, my experience with Subco has been frustrating and unhelpful. I hope they can improve their customer service and ensure that their subscriptions are properly addressed in the future.

Subco Unwanted People Magazine Issues from Subco: A Frustrated Review

So, I gotta say, I'm pretty ticked off right now. I never signed up for People magazine, but for some reason, I keep getting issues in the mail. I called up People to cancel, but they told me that it's actually Subco that's been sending them to me. Like, what the heck? How did they even get my info in the first place? This is not cool, man.

I tried calling their customer service number, but it's like it doesn't even work. What kind of company doesn't even have a working phone line? I'm seriously considering filing a complaint or something. This is just ridiculous.

I really hope they can fix this ASAP. I don't want any more unwanted magazines cluttering up my mailbox. It's bad enough that I have to deal with junk mail and bills as it is. Come on, Subco, get your act together. #frustrated

Subco Quick Response and Address Fix by Subco for Magazine Subscription

I gotta say, I had to call Subco to cancel my subscription and I left them a voice message. I didn't even ask for it, so I shouldn't be getting a bill. I mean, come on! I don't want any magazines delivered to me, Lanessa Hoffman. So, I hope they cancel it all ASAP.

But hey, gotta give credit where it's due. They responded pretty quick to my message and it turns out the magazines were being sent to an old address and name. Can you believe it? A whole year's worth of magazines just sitting there! I'm sure it was a hassle for the new tenant too. Anyways, thanks for fixing it Subco.

Subco Unwanted Magazine Subscription: A Violation of Privacy

So, I got this magazine in the mail today and I gotta say, I'm pretty ticked off. I never signed up for any magazine subscription, but somehow you guys got my info and ordered it for me. What gives? Did you even charge me for it? I feel like my privacy has been violated and I'm not happy about it. I want this fixed ASAP and I don't want to have anything to do with you guys ever again. This is the first and last time you'll be taking my info and ordering stuff without my consent. So, yeah, you better fix this mess.

Subco Unwanted Magazine Scam: My Experience with Subco

I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Subco right now. In the past week, I've received not one, but two issues of Men's Health Magazine that I didn't even sign up for. And let me tell you, as a single lady, I ain't got no interest in that kind of reading material. I'm downright angry about it, to be honest.

And what's worse, I have no idea how Subco even got my information in the first place. It's gotta be some kind of scam, right? I mean, who just randomly sends out magazines to people who didn't ask for them? I sure didn't sign up for this, and I better not be getting billed for it either.

If Subco doesn't get me off all their lists and stop sending me this unwanted junk, I'm gonna have to report them to the better business bureau. I mean, this can't be a legitimate business, can it? It's gotta be some kind of shady operation.

Subco Within the last month +/-, I have been receiving a subscription to People magazine the I did NOT personally authorize or order

Within the last month +/-, I have been receiving a subscription to People magazine the I did NOT personally authorize or order. I called People customer service and was informed that they could not stop the subscription since it was issued through "Subco," a third party agency. I was advised to call Subco at . This is the phone number listed on their website as well as in the Complaintsboard.com listing of the company. The first time I called the above number, I was immediately connected to some "medical services company" attempting to sell me medical equipment/devices. I assume that this is some other type of scam where calling certain #'s, or calling from certain #'s, patches the caller through to this medical device scam. There was no way to get past the sales pitch other than to hang up. The second time I called the same number, there was a recording stating, "I'm sorry but no one is available to take your call. Goodbye," and was disconnected. I want to immediately cancel this subscription that I did not request. Subscription #***3 If you have any additional guidance on the medical device scam, I'd appreciate any info you can offer.

I received a 2 year subscription to better homes and gardens and would never want that magazine and never asked for it. When calling better homes and gardens they told me that I can't cancel because it was placed through a company called subco and they need to cancel it. I don't know if they charged me, or if I owe someone money, but signing someone up for 2 years of a magazine they can't even cancel seems extremely shady, I question the legality of this.

Subco I Received a Men's Journal magazine in June 2022 at an address I have not lived at in over 8 years

I Received a Men's Journal magazine in June 2022 at an address I have not lived at in over 8 years. Upon further investigation, I found Subco had subscribed me to Men's Journal in April 2022 and is Billing me $19.95 for a recurring subscription. All of this was done WITHOUT my consent and NO prior contact or notification. I am now subscribed to Men's Journal for a recurring $19.95 subscription which I never even knew about. How is this even possible? Why does the Complaintsboard.com do nothing to shutdown this company for obvious and well documented Consumer FRAUD?! Look at the countless complaints for the same illegal actions. Subco is behaving Criminally and they should be prosecuted for their Fraudulent actions. They are profiting from my stolen personal information. I want monetary restitution. This is the same as criminal rings that steal credit card information and use it to make Fraudulent purchases, except it is more difficult to know what Subco is doing since they deliberately use old addresses which you've likely moved from and will never know. Subco is a Criminal company and the Complaintsboard.com should really do something. We all have a right to protect our personal information.

I received a subscription/issue of Women's Health magazine that I did not sign up for. Upon looking at the website for Women's Health magazine it informed me the subscription was done through Subco. I have never used this service and I am highly concerned as to how/why they have any of my information. I have not had any sort of magazine subscription in many, many years. I am needing this canceled immediately.

Subco I suddenly started receiving Health magazine that I did not request

I suddenly started receiving Health magazine that I did not request. I contacted Health Magazine who gave me the number to contact someone else to stop this subscription that I DID NOT ask for and to refund my money but that person gave me ANOTHER number to SubCo saying that THEY were responsible for this. Upon contacting Subco the line automatically cuts off every time I try to call. This is fraud! I do not want any more copies of this magazine. I do not want my card billed for anything in the future. And I want the money returned to my account that has been taken without my permission. Also, I had ordered some canvases for Christmas from canvas people and my husband wanted a new one so when I ordered it today I noticed at the bottom that you have to check something opting out of a gift they're offering that did not show me a picture of what it was so I am assuming that canvas people is doing this to people and their accounts. I do intend to call them directly to ask about this but all the same I felt an official complaint to the complaintsboard.com was appropriate. THIS IS THEFT! I hope to see a credit for the amounts that they billed for 2 months back onto my card soon. Thank you. Best regards

I sent the following e-mail to SUBCO tonight: This week I received two copies of Elle. I have not subscribed to Elle or any other magazine. I tried to cancel the subscription via Elle. I get a message that the subscription came from SUBCO and I have to contact SUBCO to cancel something I didn't subscribe to. So, I'm canceling. The information on the cover is: #***T *AUTO5-DIGIT 30741 MIX COMAIL #***# SUPP 8513 *** AUG24 ***-[protected] P0251 149 616 I truly hope this is an easy fix. IF you took money from my bank account, it was without my approval; please replace the money. I would appreciate a return response with the cancellation information. Thanks p.s., I have filed a complaint with the Complaintsboard.com, as I see many other people have done the same thing.

On 9/9/2022 a third party company, Subco, billed me for a subscription to Esquire magazine that I did not order or initiate. I received 2 copies of the magazine within 1 week before I contacted the company (Esquire) and was informed that I owed $10 for 6 issues. I immediately suspended the order but was informed that I needed to contact Subco to cancel the actual order. No one at Subco could be found so at this point I have no idea where the subscription stands. The whole thing is very underhanded, I never sought out to purchase this magazine and the lengths to cancel are very difficult. I want the subscription cancelled and the $10 credited. I would like my name and address removed from any mailing lists as well.

I have started to receive a subscription for Architectural Digest at my childhood/parents home in my name that I did not purchase, request, nor authorize. When I called Architectural Digest I was told a 3rd party company - SUBCO, placed this subscription in my name. Architectural Digest stated that they could only put a temporary stop on the subscription however I would need to contact SUBCO to cancel the order. I do not want to call SUBCO because I have researched this on the internet and I believe it is a scam. Please assist and advise on next steps to ensure this is handled properly. Thank you.

Subco Hi, I am filing a complaint in regards to receiving a magazine I never subscribed to - Better Homes and Garden

Hi, I am filing a complaint in regards to receiving a magazine I never subscribed to - Better Homes and Garden. When I checked into account on Better Homes and Garden website, I found that an account have been set in August and I started to receive magazines in October. I also found that the account was active paid and expired in 2023. I had to provide my email in order to contact their customer service to cancal my subscription. When I called Better Homes and Garden, I was told that my account was setup by SUBCO and that I had to contact them to get it resolved which they provided me with the phone number and physical address for SUBCO. When I called, I had to wait until tomorrow as they were closed (even though it was not time for them to close when I called). I also found out from Better Homes and Garden that I had a refund of 73.74 coming back to me. How? Does SUBCO have my credit card information and used it fraudulently? I never gave my information to this company and I am very concerned about this shady operation. I have checked all my accounts and have not found any charges from this company so far. I want SUBCO to contact me so I can have my information removed and never receive any magazines ever again without my approval.

I receive at lest 10 magazines a month that i did not order. They have my correct address, but many different names that are not remotely close to mine. The magazines include Vogue, Travel and Leisure, AD, Men's Health and many others. Can you help me in getting to the bottom of this and cancelling all these publications?

10/10/2022 I started receiving Elle magazine, whom I contacted and requested to receive NO MORE copies of the magazine and asked how I got the subscription. Elle Magazine told me that they could NOT cancel the subscription as it was placed by Subco (***). I have NEVER dealt with Subco and I refuse to pay for anything I did not order. Additionally, Subco should have NO RIGHT to place orders on my behalf as I reserve that right for ONLY myself. I DO NOT want these Elle Magazines and I DO NOT EVER want Subco to sign me up without my EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT for ANY product or service. I also DO NOT want Elle to NOT BE ABLE to cancel my subscription when requested - this should be MY and ONLY MY right, regardless of companies like Subco violating my privacy and acting WITHOUT CONSENT on my behalf!

I received Esquire Magazine, the label had my name and address on it. I never signed up for this subscription. On 091522 I contacted Esquire Magazine, their representative informed me the subscription was placed by a third party company named SUBCO and that SUBCO needed to cancel the subscription. I was provided SUBCO's. phone number. SUBCO's answering machine simply stated that their was nobody here and bye (laughable). I simply want them to cancel my subscription and take me off of any and all future subscriptions they may have for me.

Last month I began receiving People Magazine, which I did not order. I am not interested in this magazine, and I went to their website to cancel. Subco I have just found in my mailbox two issues of ELLE magazine that I never subscribed to, ordered or requested

I have just found in my mailbox two issues of ELLE magazine that I never subscribed to, ordered or requested. When I went into the ELLE subscriptions webpage and tried to cancel the order, a message popped up stating that this order was fulfilled through Subco and I could suspend it but in order to cancel it, I would have to contact them. To be perfectly clear: I had never heard of this company before today, I have no business with them, I have not ordered or requested any items from anyone through them. Most concerningly, under the "billing" heading of the order in the ELLE subscriptions page, it reads: "billing same as shipping." No. I will not pay for anything that I have not authorized. I have never authorized this payment. Furthermore, there was a previous attempt to subscribe me to a magazine that I had not authorized on 07/03. At that time, it was Woman's Day. I have contacted this company named SUBCO today immediately upon receipt of these items with a notice to cease and desist. Should they try one more time to adjudicate to me orders without my authorization, they will hear from my attorney. I am requesting: 1) that they cancel this unauthorized order effective immediately, 2) that they refund any expenses incurred under my name 3) that they cease and desist from ever utilizing my name and contact information again 4) that they do not ever mail me any of their products or services.

Subco I received an unsolicited, unwanted copy of Elle magazine in today's mail

I received an unsolicited, unwanted copy of Elle magazine in today's mail. I have never ordered this magazine... I have never read this magazine, and I do not wish to receive it. I called Elle Magazine to inquire why I was sent the magazine. Elle Magazine apparently shows me as having a subscription to their magazine that was requested by a company clled "Subco". The Elle representative said that they cannot stop the magazine subscription immediately, and I should call the responsible party, "Subco". I have been receiving a number of spam emails recently, and I contacted Complaintsboard.com about nuisance mailings from "Mailchimp". Apparently Complaintsboard.com contacted Complaintsboard.com, for which I am grateful, and I was contacted by MailChimp, who told me that my email address was in a database, although the emails originated from someone other than Mailchimp. Mailchimp has put my email address on their "block list", so they will not originate any more emails to me. I am worried that my personal information is being shared electronically and I want to get my privacy back. Please IMMEDIATELY contact Elle Magazine and inform them that they are sending me an unwanted, unsolicited magazine and they should stop accepting 3rd party subscription requests from Subco Please also contact Subco and tell them that I filed this complaint with Complaintsboard.com and will also be filing a complaint with FCC.. If possible, I would like to press charges against Subco for violating my privacy.

Subco unsolicited publications

I began received unsubscribed magazines (about 4 different issues) late in the year of 2012. Upon trying to contact these publishers (I reached 1 successfully) I was told that I had ordered these magazines in November 2012 thru a company name Subco. I was given a number to call referenced above, which was apparently a bogus number, because the number was no longer in service. I would like to have all these issues cancelled, but was told by the one publisher that they could not cancel but would cound temporaily stop, well, guess what that didn't happen either.

I received a magazine today that I had not subscribed to, and am not at all interested in. The label showed I have a three year subscription! I was able to find thru the magazine's website that the subscription was thru SUBCO. I called their number, listened to Muzak for 36 minutes, then they disconnected. Tried calling the magazine directly, they couldn't help me since the billing was thru SUBCO. Found the SUBCO website, sent them an email, got an auto response saying they'll contact me in a few days. Tried calling again, have been listening to their stupid music for 18 minutes now...if any charges show up on any of my accounts, they will be contested! Grrrrrrrr.
