CROOKS, THIEVES, SCAMMERS are just the first three words that come to mind
CROOKS, THIEVES, SCAMMERS are just the first three words that come to mind. I went in there to purchase a minivan on July 7. I was told a purchase price of $24,000 walking out the door. I left a $200 CASH deposit and returned the next day. When I did, I was told the purchase price would be $9,000 more due to dealership fees and other taxes. I told them this was not in my budget and I wanted my deposit back. They told me they could not give me cash back or put money on my debit card and I would have to wait for a check in the mail. I was told the check would be mailed on Monday July 12th. I called on Thursday July 15th when I still had not received the check and was told it was mailed on Tuesday the 13th. I called on Monday the 19th when I still had not received the check and was told it was mailed on Wednesday the 14th. I called today, July 21st and was told it was mailed on July 15th. In what world does it take 6 days for a letter to make it from Valley Stream to Lindenhurst in the ***? They are liars. Do not do business with this company. Save yourself the headache. When I told them I would report them to the ComplaintsBoard.com Bethany told me "go for it." Is this the type of customer service you would like to receive? I'm still waiting for my $200. They also have since been texting me profanity text messages.

They sold me a terrible car, not a good car at all
They sold me a terrible car, not a good car at all. Specifically, it was a *** car. I bought it and immediately went on a road trip. The whole trip was a disaster. Less than halfway to my destination, all the check engine lights came on. They were saying there were problems with the electric system, the all-wheel drive, the emissions, and the electric brakes. I took it back to the shop and talked to a salesperson named Al, who sold me the car. He told me to talk to his lawyer. I had paid for a 72-month warranty, but it turns out it's not even valid. I wasn't even told that I was buying a *** car. The dealerships in *** can't even pull the vehicle identification number (VIN) because they have two different systems. I can't even drive the car, mind you. All of this happened just a week and a half after I purchased it.
Sat 6/04 at approximately 9:45am, checked on a car with a pre-qualified letter from a lender
On Saturday, 6/04, around 9:45am, I visited the dealership with a pre-qualified letter from a lender to view a car. I found one I liked and applied for financing through the same lender. While waiting, I received multiple credit inquiry alerts. I questioned the finance manager and salesman about the excessive inquiries, as I expected only one. They explained that for a no down payment loan, they sought financing from other sources without my consent. I had anticipated they would consult me if the initial application was unsuccessful before making further credit checks.
The prices they list online are completely, 100% BOGUS
The prices they list online are completely, 100% BOGUS. I called about a 2019 Lexus RX 350L. The vehicle was listed at $38,990, but when you clicked on the link, it became $39,990. But that was only the beginning. Virtually all dealerships now charge a "dealers fee" or "dealer's prep charge" or some other phony name for profit markup. The least of these I have encountered was $1,400, the most, $4,000. In the old days, dealers would try to upsell buyers with such dubious products as undercoatings. At least a wise buyer could refuse those add-ons. Not so with dealer fees. They are non-negotiable and therefore should be disclosed in the listings. With Stream Auto Outlet, the *** dealer fee was "only" $3,000. That is until I disclosed that I was a cash buyer, at which time I was told the vehicle would be $48,000! I do not know whether the 8K markup for not using their ripoff financing included the 3k dealer fee because I hung upon the scamster/salesman I was talking to.

I bought a car from Stream Auto Outlet on March 20th and also got a Tire and Wheel policy for 4 years
I bought a car from Stream Auto Outlet on March 20th and also got a Tire and Wheel policy for 4 years. I traded in the car on January *** for the first time on January 31st and have been dealing with issues since then. They keep lying to me and making excuses. Al "forgot" to file the cancellation paperwork for over a month. I have records of dates, times, and what happened during my conversations with Al, *** (from Stream Auto Outlet), and NSD (the policy company). They finally said the policy was canceled on April 12th, 2022, and backdated it to February 1st, 2022. They said Stream Auto Outlet has the money and should have paid me by now. *** both say they haven't received anything from NSD. Today, Al said he would contact them to find out the refund amount and maybe give me a check. A few hours later, I reached out to Al and he said they wouldn't tell him the amount, which I think is nonsense! You're the finance manager for the dealer, you can figure it out. I did, it's at least $969.54.
