Did a fantastic job on my roof. The staff in the office was amazin. The entire process was smooth from start to finish.

Stay Dry Roofing of Tampa Bay, Inc. is pretty good at fixing roofs, but they're not so great at tidying up. They fixed my roof, but they just can't seem to clean up after themselves. My wife called their office manager, this lady named Ms. U., to tell them about the plywood and tar that the roofers left behind. She promised to call back, but she never did. I gave her a call a few days ago and got the same old story. If you really have to hire them, make sure they clean up their mess before they leave.

They didn't finish the job like they were supposed to. We just saw our house for the first time and we're really upset. Your company did a terrible job, it's almost like a crime. You took down the lights and didn't put them back up. Some spots don't even have the right frame to mount the lights. You tore down our cable box and left it in pieces on the ground with all the wires showing. You removed a railing on the deck and didn't put it back. You moved the grill to the edge of the deck without a rail, and it fell off and broke into pieces in our neighbor's yard. There are nails all over the yard and the back deck that weren't there before. On the south side of the house, the first-floor battens don't line up with the second floor for some reason. And there are a bunch of areas where the trim doesn't line up and looks like it was done by beginners. I don't know how you're going to fix all these problems. If you ignore this, we might have to take legal action.

I was told by the estimator I would receive a 3% reduction if I paid in cash. When I got the invoice there was no reduction- owner will 'reflect'. The estimator, Caleb, came by the house on June 3 and gave me a quote. He said that if I paid in cash, I would get a 3% discount. I said I was interested in that. On June 17, workers started and finished on June 18. On the 18th Caleb called to say more wood had been used. I asked about payment and he said Uli would call back to tell me the amount and I would get an email and then I would make payment at the office. I called Caleb back about the extra material that was still on the premisis. He called me back and said he spoke with Uli at the office and she told him that Daniel would pick up the material next week between Monday and Wednesday. I also said I still hadn't heard from Uli about the bill. Daniel never showed up and I called the office yesterday and spoke with Uli. When I asked about the bill she said she didn't know what happened. She asked for my email address. She denied that Caleb spoke with her last week. She said she would contact Daniel about the extra material. When I got the email yesterday, the bill didn't include the 3% discount. I sent an email to Uli saying what Caleb had told me. This morning I got an email from her saying he will 'reflect' on it and make a decision after his visit to my home. I just remembered that when I spoke with her yesterday, she said that Daniel would need to do a 'walk through' and then we would discuss the bill. I asked what she meant by 'walk through' and asked if that meant he would check the roof and she said yes. A good friend recommended this roofing company to me but something doesn't feel right. That's why I'm complaining. I haven't received an email from Daniel about any decision he made yet but I believe I deserve the 3% reduction. Any reputable business would agree and would have resubmitted the invoice with the correct payment amount. I hope I'm not a victim of a scam where I'll be sued by the suppliers because the company isn't paying their own bills which means a lien will be place on my property which I feel is unfair and unwarranted.
