This my 3rd roof change and I was worried about the cost. I picked Continental and it was the best home fix experience I ever had. Jorge, the company guy, came to my crib and we talked about the deets and what I wanted in 5 minutes. He was real profesh and, most importantly, cool with a friendly vibe. I was even more impressed with how fast they put my roof on after that first meet. The crew on site worked fast but good. My roof looks dope, the work is quality, and my yard was cleaner after they left than when they came. 10/10 I would tell my homies to use them from my recent experience.

I got a new roof from Continental in 2011 and it came with a 10 year install warranty. I had a big leak and they said they'd fix it. But then they replaced my whole roof in *** 2011. My contract said I had a 10 year installation warranty with 30 year shingles. I told them about a bad leak in late sept. On 1 Oct, the boss looked at the roof and said it was a metal flashing issue that I didn't get (with no proof). My contract didn't say anything about flashing. He said I should try to get a new roof. On 2 Oct, someone else came to look at the roof and said I needed a water test to find out why it was leaking. They said if it was a warranty issue, it should be covered unless it was a siding problem. They said they'd talk to the boss and get back to me by 5 Oct. But they never called. I called the boss on 8 Oct to complain about not getting a call like they promised. Then the estimator called me later that night and said they wouldn't fix it under warranty. I tried to call the general manager for over a week but they never called me back. Finally, the boss from 1 Oct called me and said the owner and general manager agreed not to honor the warranty. The Continental warranty didn't say anything about metal flashing and they couldn't prove I didn't get it. And why did the estimator say I needed a water test if it was a flashing issue? And why did they say on 2 Oct that the warranty would cover it if it was a roof issue? Other reviews say that Continental doesn't honor their warranty after 5 years and tries to find excuses not to fix things. I asked to talk to the GM or owner but they never called me back. Continental didn't give me any proof about the metal flashing. The warranty said 10 year workmanship with no exceptions for flashing. They gave me the runaround for over 2 weeks.

So, I had some hail damage and got two roofers to give me estimates. The first guy said he'd do it for the same price as my insurance estimate, but the second guy, Continental Roofing Company, wanted to give me their own estimate. I told them I'd only pay the insurance price, but they had me sign some forms and I didn't get a copy. Later, they had me sign another form to send to my insurance company, but I still didn't get a copy. They came by and asked for the initial payment from my insurance, and I gave it to them with the understanding that I was only paying the insurance price. I never got any paperwork from them, just a flyer. I paid them the final amount in August, but then they said I owed them more money in November. I tried to talk to them about it, but they wouldn't meet with me and now they've put a lien on my property. I'm 87 years old, did I get scammed? Can someone help me out here?
