St. Luke's Medical Center Philippines review: The nurse staff assisted me in the Women’s Health Center

I had a walk-in appointment for a transvaginal ultrasound on December 3, 2025. I understood that there would be a waiting time, and that was fine. However, the issue was the nurse who assisted me. She was not pleasant at all, the one with shoulder-length blonde hair.
Since I am pregnant, even after urinating, I sometimes feel the need to go again. When she assisted me to the ultrasound area, I told her that I needed to pee once more. She smirked and told me to hurry, otherwise she would give my slot to another patient. That was very unprofessional. I had already been waiting for more than three hours, and to be spoken to like that just because I needed to pee again was unacceptable.
I was paying in cash and not through HMO, and I was willing to pay for proper service, but this is the kind of treatment I received. I will not go through that again.
Another issue was that the result was not released on the same day, even though other hospitals and clinics can provide same-day results. I had to return the next day to claim it, and again, the experience was disappointing. They said they could not print the result. The receptionist simply took a photo of the result using my phone.
For a hospital like St. Luke’s, I expected better service. They also seem to lack a standard procedure and do things differently depending on the staff. When I asked the staff in the lab if they could send the result through email, she told me they could not. But when I returned to claim the result, another staff member told me I could email them and they would send it, so apparently it was allowed.

Another thing is that even when you are already in the ultrasound area, you still have to wait about 10–15 minutes for the doctor to arrive, on top of the long wait for your turn.

Overall, the experience at the Women’s Health Center was very disappointing and far from the service that St. Luke’s is known for.
