On the 4th of August 2018, i visited a sportscene shop with my Adidas backpack with me, it had a brand new size 5 Vans(Kids) for my son and my red Kappa track top..when i entered the shop i found out that there were no parcel counters to store my backpack so i placed it near the cashier till where they usually instruct us to put our stuff at.i looked around and picked an Adidas track bottom pants valued at R750 and went to a fitting room to fit it, i came out and went straight to the till to make a payment.On my way out i found out that, my backpack was not there..i asked one of the workers and he told me that it was there, i told him its not.he helped me looked for it and i asked for security footages and they told me that there were no cameras..one of the workers suggested that we go to the fidelity offices where cameras of the whole mall are operated, we got there and they asked me what was inside and i told them..they took me to some room full of computer screens showing footages of the mall, the guy looked for a 11:30 AM footage which was the time i entered the shop and i appeared on the footage, He then fast forwarded it till 2 males enter the shop empty handed but when they exit one of them is carrying a black backpack and is hiding it which i believe it was mine..The more the camera operator zoomed them was the more the picture became unclear because the camera was way too far i think..the fidelity workers asked for my details and i gave them, and my stolen belongings..they wrote them down and promised me to look for the culprits and told me that they will contact me..since then i haven't heard from them..My number is [protected]..I hereby request a refund because i do not have money to place the stolen stuff.
