I placed a Flemington (Australia) Quaddie bet yesterday and one leg was voided because the favourite horse (war machine) was somehow able to leave the gate with no jockey on board and proceeded to run around the track by itself (so it couldn’t restart the race). Sportsbet called this a “scratching” and kept my bet stake $94.50.
(I also won the other 3 legs of the Quaddie).

After complaining via their online chat and over the phone they decided to pay my stake back as a bonus bet (admitting they were wrong). This is unnacceptajle., they should refund my actual money otherwise they are stealing.

Claimed loss: $94.50

Desired outcome: Refund my money
