It's a deals site, offer daily deals and specials. I purchased several deals from them and when the deal expires, by law, the company should give credit for future purchases. However, the customer service at Specialicious.com was eSpecially difficult to deal with. I had to copy and paste the links to VA laws on gift certificates (which is what these deals are classified as) and after numerous emails, will they give credit back on unused deals (these are credits, not money back). Compared to other deal sites like groupon or livingsocial, Specialicious does not make it easy for consumers to use their service.
Agree with this post and also the Specialicious customer service in general is horrible compared to Groupon or Living Social. With those sites, you get an immediate response and help in finding a solution. Specialicious customer service apparently is managed by one person who also works at Northern Virginia Magazine in their marketing department, so doesn't have the bandwidth to respond and help with issues. I was locked out of my account and never was able to get access again -- no IT support, nothing. This deals site is very subpar when you compare it with the major players.
