This company is so profesh, they answered all my Qs and worries. The install was quick and smooth. I'm so happy with how it turned out. I def recommend them.

I gave Solar Shield a deposit in August and they put a trailer in my yard in November . They started working on an unpredictable schedule in January and finished in March . The skylight installation looked terrible internally, but Solar Shield HQ claimed they only do outside work. When the crew left, we asked for a device to open the skylight, but they told us to get a ladder. They left a large pile of garbage on the side of our house, which we had to clean up before we could mow. When the representative came for final payment, we retained $600 of the total job cost of $18,000 so that they would come to clean up their mess and fix the last couple of items. They sent us a letter demanding payment, but we told them the skylight was leaking, and they refused to come to inspect it unless we paid $600. The skylight still leaks, and we now have an infestation of ants and spiders. We need help to fix the skylight, check for mold, and get pest control. We are desperate for help, all caused by Solar Shield's improper installation of the skylight.

Wow, Solarshield Home Improvement did an amazing job on my roof! They got it done in just 5 hours and it looks fantastic. The site was left just as clean as it was before they arrived. The team was super nice and professional. The textured metal roof they put on looks just like the sample they showed me during the estimate. Solarshield Home Improvement has some pretty good metal shingles that are better than the regular ones and look nicer too. But they cost a lot more than a regular asphalt roof - like three times more! And even twice as much as a regular metal roof. Plus, if you need any extra stuff like faisha metal, they won't help you out. I told them about it, but they didn't care. So basically, I paid a lot of money and had to finish the job myself.

The installers did an excellent job, they were friendly and answered any questions I had. They needed to travel 2 hours each way to do the job and were here at 7 AM each day. The cleanup at completion was also good. The roof looks so much better then regular shingles. If you need a new roof this the one you want.

Solar Shield installed a new roof on our home in Pennsylvania. They were very informative from the beginning of the project from the online consultation to the financing, the installation and the final inspection. We did not get to meet any of the installers since we do not live at the property yet but all the neighbors said they were very through and neat. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
