social media - professional reputation ruined
The trouble this company created for my business is beyond words. If you want your reputation ruined, customers alienated and associates too and look like a complete fool - Social Buzzing will do it for you, perfectly.
Please read more customer reviews here. I certainly wish I had seen these before. Please DO take your time to read these reviews and research this company carefully before contacting them.

To begin with I worked in good faith with Vanessa Whitacker. They target people who are relatively inexperienced with Social Media. The damage this company has done to my business is still being rectified 5 months later!
If you ask Vanessa to rectify the damage they do to your business you get a rude or arrogant response. They will refuse to make any amends. Eventually, once you've paid they'll just ignore you. A cabinet of horrors.
social media (promotion scam)
I am writing to warn anyone working with Vanessa Whitaker of social buzzing.
Their website is: www.socialbuzzing.co.uk
Extremely care should be taken when dealing with this company. They are social media scammers!
An awful company. Awful customer service. Never use them.
They will use and abuse you and shamelessly stalk you and your associates to aggressively self promote.
The company was supposed to be managing my social media but did the shoddiest job AND will simply USE your account to self promote their business on your social media making you look like a fool! Awful. Unprofessional. A show of horrors!
social marketing/blog writing
I ordered a job from pph from these guys, they did shoddy work to say the least. I ordered two jobs from these guys, one to manage my social footprint and another to write 10 blog posts.
The first job was shoddy. I hired them because I didn't have time to do it myself, I wish I didn't. I asked them to post twice a week, two weeks a month. Even though they use hootsuite they couldn't seem to understand how to use the scheduler right and it came out was 2 posts in one day of the month and nothing more.
They didn't even understand that facebook bans certain ad categories. Their photoshopping skills are awful, the banner they made was heavily pixelated/badly cut and did not fit right on mobile devices at all. They even posted the wrong category post on my facebook at one point (something about industrial metals). They did not grow the audience at all, and repeated facebook posts multiple times.
They only used a default 1, 0000 fake follower package on my social profiles. I did more in my spare time when I could be bothered than what I paid them full time to do. I cancelled this job and let them keep the money since they did do work.
The second job was never handed in, despite billing me.in their defense they did write a few extremely badly written samples for, which I asked them to rewrite even giving them directions on how to. After 3 weeks of no communication, I returned for the advertised money back, they refused. They even tried to claim they completed the job after I asked for a refund. I left a bad review detailing the problems, they in turn left a false review about me, slandering me, and then emailed me and threatened me to remove my review. Pph eventually removed their review for breaching rules.
I threatened to file papers, they said "go ahead" and I lost the will, mostly because I couldn't be bothered and had jobs to work on.
They are currently scamming people on pph with automated black hat seo, beware: do not buy these things they will destroy your seo beyond repair.
I wish I'd seen all of this before I paid them any money. Deborah and Vanessa are still doing exactly the same thing.
My initial conversation with Social Buzzing was exciting. So much promise and I thought they really understood my business. I was wrong.
Spelling mistakes in the social media posts, missed posts, plagiarised blog posts, incomplete blog posts, liking their own posts to improve the stats, delays, multiple ignored emails to my so-called account manager, removing me as an admin from my own FB page and so much of the contract not fulfilled.
I followed their terms and complaints procedure to the letter. They did not. They are now threatening legal proceedings despite not delivering what has been paid for, appalling customer service and not abiding by their own terms! (And beware - their terms basically mean that, no matter how appalling the service is, you are tied in for 3 months. Obviously these terms are unfair and would not stand up in court but it's worth being aware of them).
IN ADDITION TO THIS, THEIR STAFF ARE NOW LEAVING NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON MY BUSINESS (DESPITE NEVER BEING A CUSTOMER OR USING THE SERVICE) JUST BECAUSE I STOOD UP TO THEM!
I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company and wish I'd listened to all of the other negative reviews.
They are now telling me that they will cancel the final invoice 'as a gesture of goodwill' after I told them I was going to commence legal proceedings to recoup the money I have paid, report them to Trading Standards, and I that intend to sue for slander if the false reviews aren't removed.
Did anyone go through with legal proceedings?
I think we take this offline
We can message privately on this forum and then offline
Thanks
Happy to help with my experience, I would agree they can undoubtedly be claimed against for miss-selling of services. Having done some research their contract appears to be non-binding as well so there is quite possibly grounds for compensation for people who have been strong-armed into it.
I'll pm you my email.
Hi. I too have been taken in by these arrogant scammers at Social Buzzing. I'd be interested in looking at any combined legal action. They owe me £880.
Similar experience here - Social Buzzing are nothing short of scam artists trying to trap small businesses. Would be interested in helping/joining any action against them, please message me.
Hi Arthur,
Interesting reading your comments as we have the exact same experience. Our company was quite happy to simply terminate the relationship with them and forget about the money that was paid even though they were in fact in breach of contract and simply move on. As you said Vanessa's arrogance would not let it drop and as a result we are now also contemplating legal action like yourself.
Personally i am tired of companies like this ripping off people like us and getting away with it, i feel it would be a good idea to talk to gain as much evidence across several peoples experiences and give them a taste of their own medicine. Let me know how you are getting on and lets have a chat.
Regards
Callum
Hi
we are now going to make a claim against social buzzing for breach of contract, damaging our brand and mis selling their services to us.
Their arrogance will catch them up. the truth will out. we got an independent review done of their work and it is damning to say the least and any judge will see this as well.
The report has gone to various organisations. how did all of you get on ?
Hi
I was with social buzzing for a bit and their work is rubbish. Vanessa is a liar and Eventually things will catch up with her and her Right hand dog Deborah.
All their reveiws are fake from yell, google, Bark and everywhere. They pay people to leave them good reviews.
I think complaining to google, bark etc is a good idea and will also be lodging complaints.

Have you heard of Totum? They're a social media marketing company. Check them out! https://www.socialtotum.com/
I agree with you that legal action might be the way forward. We ought to join forces and properly assess our options so please let me know if you would be interested and whether you know any other people who might want to join the group.
Yeah, I might well be interested in that, the small claims court will actually refund the costs of the case of we win.
Dear Sammaye, I am sorry to hear about your experience with Social Buzzing as I am having a terrible experience with them too. Vanessa Whitaker and Deborah Bligh both of Social Buzzing should be avoided like the plague. They are bold and unscrupulous and have no qualms about deceiving potential clients. Deborah Bligh posted a fake review on Bark.com dishonestly praising Social Buzzing using her own name! Bark.com has been notified. Social Buzzing is quick to point to their so-called raving online reviews but having uncovered the fake one on Bark.com uploaded by Deborah, I believe the rest of their positive reviews have to be viewed with deep suspicion. Social Buzzing prey on people who use People Per Hour and in my case responded to a job I posted. Vanessa contacted me and once I gave her my telephone number, negotiations took place away from the website in breach of People Per Hours terms and conditions. When you sign on Social Buzzing offers an extremely poor service or none at all. Vanessa told me before I made a payment that she was brimming with ideas but once I paid, all activity dried up. When I complained, they offered me a refund on the condition that I dropped my complaint with People Per Hour, sent them copies of all correspondence that I had sent to People Per Hour and agree to never speak of my complaint ever again. to anyone. Deborah attempted to strong arm me into agreeing to drop my complaint in return for them giving me a full refund. Vanessa taunted me for failing to do sufficient research about their poor reputation before signing up with them. Do your research and consider all the negative reviews about them on this website and others and whether you want so-called social media experts with questionable and tarnished reputations managing your business reputation.
Haha, taunted you for not doing research? Haha, they are so funny. I might sue social buzzing TBH, they are getting on my nerves.
I too made the mistake of paying before I got the work, thinking I was getting the work. TBH PPH will not help you, they don't want to mess with their top sellers, I am thinking of suing them too, they have been scamming me massively out of seller payments, basically money I made and they keep making excuses to not give.
If you look on other sites they have been posting fake reviews and even fake replies to bad reviews of them.
Of course none of this existed back when I got the job from them, it seems that in a year they have not changed one bit and continue to scam and steal to the tune of £300, 000 according to their companies house filing.
More people need to file papers with these guys, until eventually they are banned for the criminals they are.
They have been banned from facebook, that's why you won't find a facebook profile for them.

vanessa whitaker
Be very careful of this company social buzzing and in particular with vanessa whitaker.
They are not very professional, as soon as we saw that they weren't good enough for us and wanted a refund they said they couldn't give it to us. So we kind of found ourselves obliged to use them and after a month we haven't seen any major changes on our social media platforms or any increase of interest in our business by potential clients. At the end of the month they sent us a report with pictures taken from their screen. Which is not showing us how have they improved our social media presence.
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Vanessa whitaker (link removed) = scammer
www.socialbuzzing.co.uk = scammers
Debbie Bligh is part of the company Social Buzzing, they started our service as agreed for one full upfront payment paid in good faith for one whole month to be carried out updating facebook posts, google adwords revamping and facebook ads altering to make as optimal as possible. We was set up a wrong google account in another completely different name without them even checking ! They then asked for logins in the space of the first week over 10 times! A complete sham of company & Hootsuite does this work for them they just add over 500% charge so beware of this person & their company. We cancelled after the first week due to lousy service and poor organisation, they tried to claim 2 more months then in the sum of £680.00!
Hi Ava, this is Vanessa.
I apologise for not responding to your review before but I have only been alerted to this. I felt it was important to address your feedback as it is an inaccurate account of what happened between us. You asked us to manage your social media for one month last year. After a few days you wanted to cancel as you had not seen a huge increase in enquiries to your business. I advised you it had been less than a week and your social media was in it’s infancy, it was going to take time! Whilst I believe we are very good at what we do, we are not miracle workers and any Social Media or SEO company needs to be given more than 3 days. I didn’t agree to a refund as we had already invested a lot of time prior to the start of the campaign talking to you and putting together a strategy, as well as writing content for the next few weeks and creating bespoke art work. It is not correct that there weren’t any major changes, your followers increased by 15%, your website traffic by 10% and your engagement doubled. The results were good for only 4 weeks. Unfortunately your expectations, which I did tell you needed to be managed were unrealistic and no company would have been able to have hit them. I don’t feel this is a reflection on our work, we spoke to you regularly and I did advise you needed to look at a budget for paid ads to achieve your ambitious targets within a month – you didn’t want to do this which I respected.
The report which we sent included snapshots from the social media analytics from Facebook and Twitter as they breakdown the key improvements and metrics which are important to you. They were not pictures from a screen and I messaged you to arrange a call to run through this together. You didn’t respond and I can see now you decided to post on here rather than contact myself and let me answer any queries you had.
Lastly to address being unprofessional, you have included a link to my personal page where I have pictures of my family and friends that has no relation to my business or the work we did together on a public forum. You have insinuated that I scammed you which is not true. I can understand if you were not happy with the results but to make public claims that I scammed you is factious. I feel your review highlights more yourself than the dealings of my company. As a team we work very hard to provide a great and affordable service and we genuinely care about all the businesses and people we work with. It’s a shame you have wanted to sabotage our reputation which is something we have worked very hard over 5 years to achieve because of unrealistic expectations. I hope that other potential customers take time to look at the other reviews about us online. We have worked with over 11, 000 people and have a 97% satisfaction rating as we do go out of our way to give companies the best service out there.
If you do want to discuss this with me you have my contact details and I would be more than happy to speak to you further. I hope with reflection you will consider removing this untrue feedback.
All the best,
Vanessa
social media scammers
My name is l. Johnson… I live in staines in the uk and am writing this report to share my experiences working with vanessa whitaker of social buzzing.
Their website is: www.socialbuzzing.co.uk
Be extremely careful when dealing with this company. They are not social media experts, they are social media scammers!
Awful company. Awful customer service. Never use them. I'm currently suing them for illegal activities. The company was supposed to be managing my social media but just stole others work and published it on my social media! Awful.
Hi Linda. I have come across your feedback that your company Caldeira Weddings left for mine. Firstly you mention that you are currently suing us. However I note your review was left over a year ago and I have not yet received anything. I know the Royal Mail has problems but I didn’t realise they were this bad! This along with the rest of your review is untrue and it’s a shame you have felt the need to make up such things.
You purchase an hourlie on People Per Hour from us https://www.peopleperhour.com/hourlie/manage-all-social-media-pages-twitter-google-plus-linkedin-houzz-youtube-pinterest/92298
This was to manage your social media for 5 days. It was a one off job with us, not an ongoing campaign as you are making out. Your comment that we simply stole other people’s work is again not true. With social media it’s important to use third party articles so you are not solely talking about your own business which can come across as a little monotonous. This is standard practice and an important tool to engage with your audience and get a higher reach with your content. If that isn’t something you had wanted then we could have happily focused only on your own service – we didn’t know this. Social media is personal and it’s important the client lets us know what it is they want as each brand and business is different. We pride ourselves in not having a one fits all approach which is why we send a detailed briefing form to complete. I asked you to complete this but you didn’t want to which I respected.
Your review makes out you have been hugely scammed by us and that is completely false and very damaging. I would be very careful about making such accusations in the future. It is completely misleading. The truth was that you weren’t happy with the style or content for those 5 days. I can take that onboard and I would have happily sent you more content to approve – it’s important to us all of our clients are happy even if it’s just a one off service. Sometimes with social media it does take time to understand your brand but you have no way been scammed. We did all of the work for you as per the hourlie you bought. It’s a shame you seek to tarnish our reputation when we are a genuine company with information that is not true. Unfortunately this website does not ask you to provide written evidence of the claims you have made. PPH also confirmed that you had not been scammed when you contacted them to have us removed. We are their top social media seller and there is a reason for this.
We have worked with over 11, 000 companies and we have a 97% satisfaction rate. It’s unfortunate we can not make 100% of people happy but we certainly try to. However there will always be customers that are unreasonable. The response from yourself in leaving this seems very vengeful and does not warrant the experience we had with each other. I hope potential clients of ours will read all our feedback to gain a more accurate picture of what working with us would be like and not take the judgment of one person.
You can see more reviews here too:

If you do want to discuss this with me you have my contact details and I would be more than happy to speak to you. I wish you the best and I will make sure I contact the Royal Mail to chase up the court case you claimed to have issued last Summer.
Kind regards
Vanessa

This is not a major comment but I advertised on People Per Hour and they offered to help me. Problem was I did not feel they had actually read my material and understood my needs. It was very much a 'catch all' mailing. Also I get the impression that you pay a lot for overheads and not much for actual work.
