On singlesnet a member made nasty comments about me on her profile. Her name on her account is mantecagirl1216. I would appreciate you contacting her and asking her to remove her comments immediately. I would prefer her to be barred from singlesnet for her harassing comments on her profile about me. This very disappointing and very harmful to my character.

Thank you,
James Phillips aka J.J. Phillips.

I live in a small town where everyone knows everyone. So when I started getting messages from people in my town and the small towns around me I knew something was up. So I got into conversation with a couple of them and every last one said that they were is Africa for one reason or another. One even sent me a picture of a child badly wounded asking for me to send money to aid this child. Singlesnet is a scam!!! The owners have to know that this is going on yet they still allow it...

    Beware!

Singlesnet.com - Here is the scam I think they are doing but can't confirm because I wont sacrifice the safety of my CC. I started a free account - which allows you to upload a profile and photo. With this free account you can send flirts at each other for free. Well, after a day or so - not one, but a few really, really hot girls wanted to talk to me. They sent me flirts saying - "I want to talk". This of course requires a membership and that's where the scam comes in. I'm not going to do it to find out for certain but I know what happens next according to what I've read and just street smarts in general- that girl will never talk to me again and I will have a silly membership to this place for a month with a CC , that I hear on this site - will be held hostage anyway.

In conclusion - I think this company is making these really hot and interested women up so sell memberships to guys looking for love. Guys like me are being targeted for this one time monthly membership than they are continuing to bill there credit cards despite the agreement.

Guys!!! That really hot chick is not real - and she will not be there once you sign up. I can feel this scam in my bones.

I signed up with Singlesnet quite some time ago and have nothing but spam and mainly porn in my email folder. Everything from teen porn to horses and women. I am wondering if anyone is having this problem also. I have written them a letter about how much improvement is needed on their site two times. Now not ALL 500 men can be on line at the same time? Notice there are ALWAYS 500-no more, no less.
I have never received a real email on their site but only winks. No one ever answers my email. Today I added to my profile that I am not impressed with cars and they threw out my entire essay. Geez, thought that's what essays were for-likes and dislikes. Maybe because I am an REAL person?
I just got a quick reply to re-write my essay. Guess I will need to skip the part about my not interested in cars (?) Since my first essay was perfect-I will not re-write it (or remember it) again. No mention about my statement to delete my ad. Nice. I guess I'm stuck on there forever??? Guess the reason I don't get emails is because the men refuse to go on the site again.

Yo guys. Here's a tip for ya. As far as my wondering if porn was coming from singlesnet well.
In the search line, type in the words... "singlesnet.com and porn spam"... Scroll down and see all they've got on the web. Free porn, live sex web cams. Naturally. I didn't go there or search further. Have enough in my mail.

I used to work for Singlesnet - I know for a fact it is FAKE!!! They would take pics of girls in the office or friends of girls in the office to use to send "batch emails" to non paying members... Do not give them their money = they are laughing all the way to the bank. I am very serious - it is all a joke to them, they have big parties/drive nice cars/"company" meetings at the MOST expensive restaurants in Boston on your dime! The owner just got married in Brazil - had fireworks and EVERYTHING at the wedding - don't be a fool!

afrointroductions.com is a net dating site, part of the myforeignbride group of sites. their sites are littered with fake profiles, mainly from west africa and eastern europe. the main objective? to get money from you, and they have many stories, or ways of trying to do this, i've complained to the sites on many occasions, they remove the profile but the picture in many cases its up there the following day with a different name, and sometimes the person claims to come from a different country. after doing my own homework i discovered many of the pictures are scanned from magazines. the website in question is either in on it or are making so much money they don't care if you see a picture of a beautiful woman the chances are it isn't her. ask to see her on webcam, if she says no or gives you any excuse for not seeing her on webcam the chances are it isn't her. straight after writing this message i went to that site and found 4 fake profiles on the 1st page

I am very upset about the recent appearance of singlesnet advertising on my earthlink webmail page and on the google search pages. Thes ads look like teasers for porno movies. They show women kissing, women in sexy clothing with completely bare butts and in very sensual positions. This is way past the sports illustrated swimsuit issue! I don't want my children to see this when checking email or just browsing on google for homework info. I called the singlesnet customer service line and was first hung up on and on my second call told that they would not pull their advertising and that I'd have to complain to the people displaying the ads (ie google) which I have done, but I'm sure nothing will come of it. They are not pop ups so there is no way to block them! Shame on singlesnet and google! Adult entertainment is not the same thing as a singles service and they should confine these ads to specific sites that deal with that type of material!!!!

I am not receiving my emails from potentiall matches.
Email shows up once only and then I can't get the same message backas if I deleted it.
I am an ITT professional and this is not the way to do bussiness, paying good money and not receiving the expected results as promissed under the contract...
I get messages that say I ignored, them which is not true since I didn't receive their message to begin with...
Next time I will have to copy all my messages before exiting the site...
This is not the first nsident...
    Sincerely

Sorry but google does not get into the habbit of showing lude images on search pages unless you turn off the offensive content filter. if you are so concerned about what your kids surf online then maybe you should take responsibility and learn how to BLOCK the images. Install parental control software and turn ON the offensive content filters. Heck.. maybe even supervise your kid's surfing.

Adult and dating sites are businesses like any other, just because you complain and don't like it doesn't mean they should pull it. T be honest, you probably have adware on your system showing these ads in your browser and is the fualt of you for allowing it on your system. Did you add any toolbars or "Freeware" programs lately?

I find it particularly disturbing that singlesnet attracts so many Nigerian Scammers. I wrote to complain and the administrators blew me off. In case anyone doesn't recognize a scammer by now here are the signs: 1st contact they want you to set up an IM on Yahoo. Second contact they start telling you how much they love you. They also do not have proper English or phrasing of sentences. Just a heads up for those who haven't been through the drill.

Overall my experiences with Singlenet have been negative. The men do not post current pictures and are usually older then what their profile claims.

Larry the reason it is deleted it is probably a FAKE profile and you can blame there HOSTS AND SERVERS they are the culprits and they also put SPYWARE/ADWARE/MALWARE by using piriting software again HOSTS AND SERVERS watch out for for Zango /adware------180 Solutions------- and Hotbar you cant log in www.singles.net if you set cookies too high that makes a loophole for them to take advantage of you

It does not suprise me what they do with YOUR MONEY they are just like any company going on and on until they are BROKE and have no money left to mess peoples lives up so you BIG WIGS at singles.net the party is almost over when no one has any money to be a featured member but a few SSI OR WELFARE bums who uses other peoples computers to LIE /CHEAT/STEAL/put up fake profiles and you people at www.singles.net should hire AMERICAN CITIZENS who can READ the Boston Globe or know who Howie Carr is

Here's how it works. You fill out a full profile. They start inundating you with "responses" to your profile but you have no way of responding unless you join.

You can look at the profiles of the people who are supposedly interested in you, but only a small portion of their profile is available. Obviously, this works both ways because I stated very specifically in my profile that I am only interested in finding someone of my own ethnic/religious persuasion. Clearly none of the men who contacted me have seen this part of my profile (or they all think that I'm so gorgeous that they're just ignoring it--yeah, right!).

My conclusion, it's a come-on, bait-and-switch sort of thing that is a complete waste of time.

For long period of time I was a member of Singlesnet. I paid lots of money and although I am not a member now, they (singlesnet) are sending me links to individuals that have profiles on there web site.

I have done research, contacted individuals and note that they (Singlesnet) have set me up! This has happened several times, now I keep copies of emails and have legitimate information.

Where are the true watch dogs that need to stop dishonesty approaches such as this one use by Singlesnet?

I have had men on the site email me and when I read their profile it talks about how they are only there to meet women for sexual encounters. I got tired of getting emails from people like that so I put in my profile that I was not just there looking for sex - please don't write if you are. They took that out of my profile and wouldn't let me post it. So it's ok for men to post that they want sex but not for women to post that they don't! Pretty discriminatory - and I've told them that, too.

One man in particular has age 44 posted on his profile. I could tell from his photographs that he was much older than 44. He had emailed me several times asking when I was going to meet him and finally, I emailed him and asked him how old he really was. His real age was 68. I told him that I thought that was wrong and I was going to report him to Singlesnet. He responded to me with: "When I first joined this dating service more than one year ago, I entered my actual age and received profiles of ladies who were between the ages of 55-65.. After several dates and discussions, I decided to call the Singlesnet organization to see why I was not receiving profiles of younger ladies. The singlesnet people told me that their computer only issues profiles of ladies who are no more than 20 years younger than the person requesting profiles. Since I prefer dating younger ladies between ages 35 -55 I told Singlesnet that I was disatisfied with the profiles of older ladies.
She also told me that there was no way that I could go into my account and change my age. She said the thing that she could do so that I would receive profiles of Younger ladies is to "Plug in a number" and that is what she did."

So there you have it. You can't search for anyone by entering YOUR preferences, they chose those preferences for you. And if that doesn't work they tell you to lie on your profile. I've emailed Singlesnet about this - it's wrong and I do NOT think that they should be allowed to do this.

i have met some really nice people on this site. i am a American citizen although I was born in Nigeria. I visit Nigeria once in a while [when have money and time]. So, I try and meet people {Nigerians} on this site in case I happen to be on a visit in the country.

My best friends in Nigeria, as of now, were met on this site. Do they ask for money? Not really. I am the one who sends them money and small gifts, especially during the Christmas period. Also, I send text-books to the ones in colleges because Nigerian colleges have no text-books and I happen to be in academia and I can buy books on-line very cheap.

One of these friends, whom I met on this site, is very friendly with my causins now. In fact, this person lives in Lagos and I find it easier to send her on errands for me. We talk all the time from Nigerian politics to problems of education and health care in Nigeria and Africa in general. this person is well educated and also very intelligent.

My friend, who introduced me to Afrointroductions site, met a wonderful, well educated lady on the site. She is well-to-do, visits the USA and Europe very often. She has no interest in migrating to anywhere oustide of Nigeria. When she visits the USA, she buys all sorts of African stuff for my friend. So, it goes both ways.

I guess the point that I am trying to make is that good and bad people exist all over the world. In your family, village, state, country - all sorts of people exist.

Talking about crime committed against persons - 70% of crimes committed against persons are done by people who know their victims. Not people on the internet who live thousands of miles away. It is the mouse who lives in the housee that tells the wild, oustide mouse that a home-owner has dreid fish in his/her fireplace.

If you are stupid enough to send money to a complete stranger that you have never even met, you deserve to be duped. You probably patronisze prostitutes in your neighborhood and now you want to explore foreign ones. Good luck. How can you fall in love with some-one you have never met in person? You have mental, emotional or psychological issues. Go see a shrink.

afrointroductions.com is a company that provided my personal information to some of it's members, including my name, address, phone number, email address and IP address. the information was posted in their chatroom. this information has been used by its members for identity theft and there have been attempts to hack into my computer as a result of this security breach.

Singlesnet.com is by far the most uncompliant website I've ever seen. They don't post anything about when maintanance occurs so I was right in mid conversation with a woman when the site went dead for repairs. Of all the e-mails I've sent about issues or problems with the site have not been even responded to in any fashion. I will never spend money on that site again. I suggest others don't either. Match.com seems much better although I haven't subscribed yet. But I'll NEVER resubscribe to singlesnet again. These people should be ashamed to call themselves a dating site.

This for everyone going to dating website such as match one, singles.net. its all hpye they lure you in but when you try to contact some other members they want you to payjust when you find someone interesting. If you look for african americans every other race and creed comes up, Also look out for the people advertisting to meet others, just lies and more lies and a waste of time especially looking for people in your own area. You do better going to the *** bar in person because all these sites claimed if you pay you get?

I signed on for a 1 month subscription with Singlesnet, an internet dating service. I cancelled even before the month was up. There is no screening whatsoever: all kinds of questionable people are on there, making lewd comments; I even had one "Nigerian businessman" who wanted me to contact him about future business deals! If you just read someone's profile without taking any action, Singlesnet automatically sends that person an e-mail saying you are "interested"! I do not recommend this service for anyonw who wants to sign on for a professional, above-board dating service.

Singlesnet.com seems to be running a scam to collect and share your/my personal information. I wish I had checked them out before signing up! It seems they do this to many people.

Within an hour of signing up with them, once they had my information, my account was disabled for no reason. After reading about them it is clear this is their MO!

I contacted them, once, through their site but now I am blocked from even reaching it. No surprise there is no due process; or any process, just a scam. What is worse – it seems they represent a number of sites and your existing accounts will be disabled with them as well!

I suggested that they allow a pinpoint age search as I really am not looking for a cougar nor anyone close to my age. They suggested that I list that in my profile.Hey, I make money for people with my ideas. Im trying to help them out. They reject every shot I use. Their website is not easy to navigate and clearly they are only interested in creating a basic cash cow. Also I suggested that they set up a point system where even if you dont pay after a period of time you are allowed a day of free contact. That might intice more business.Screw them

I have looked and written down some of the srceen names that they show for my area. And have searched for them after creating my profile. And none of them exist. How can you show people who is not even on here. Was thinking about giving them money to sign up. But when you start off with lies makes me not want to. When i first went to sign. THey showed a whole bunch of people in my area. Then after signing in. There was not one single person in my area. I would not recommend you guys to any one.

I contacted them via email a couple of times to cancel...stating that as listed date within their 30 cancellation period and just kept getting emails responses to call. Finally, got around to calling and they said there was nothing I could do to get my money back, even though they acknowledged that I'd emailed them wanting to cancel prior to the cancellation date. Rip-off...service didn't deliver anything worthwhile for the 2 weeks I used the service.

Singlesnet needs to do better the page don't even come up when you want to read your messages or to go in chat it don't let you log in and they don't profide you with addiquit information to correct a situation. And they should not shut you out when money runs out why say it's free when it's not really free. They should allow you to have more option to see or use everything before they want to charge you. if you're not going to let people log into view their messages don't send us messages, andthey match you up with people you don't ask for they assume that some of these people you want to meet if i want a certain age group show me that let me choose others if i want.
