My appt was for 9/9/2026 at 3:00 pm; get called at about 10:00 AM to cancel; stating that they did not receive the referral/clinicals nor did my insurance authorized. Also; that calls were made to the doctor's office with no response. Well, at home I have 2 messages of them calling stating that they have the referral; and also received 2 texts requesting copies which were sent before appointment. Also my Insurance is PPO; and really no prior authorization is requested. So I called the doctor's office, and only 1 call was received, which was answered with a fax copy of the very same referral they originally received; also called Humana and no authorization is needed. So after searching on my pwn; find that it's a lack of training and care of scheduling at the wrong location or overbooking, and this happens quite often. So now another wait for what I really needed. Imagine if my issue gets worst for waiting until 10/8/26 for another appointment? Someone needs to start addressing this problem; why have the patient pay for an internal mistake, and then when you call in, all they say is that it's the policy. Too bad the hospitals can do outpatient, but it will cost a higher expense to insurance and, of course, a higher copay to me of $336.00 vs. $250.00. Shame that I see so many reviews about this and still going on; I will next have to file a complaint.
Recommendation: Ask if the location has the specify equipment needed and call the location ahead if possible, to get clarification.
