I bought the "Aloe Vera" gel from Desert Harvest, Inc
I bought the "Aloe Vera" gel from Desert Harvest, Inc., which is supposed to help with vulvodynia. But when I got it, it had some chemical smell that I couldn't wash off. And guess what? They refused to give me a refund! I ordered the soothing cream on 7/20, and my order number is 65826. I paid for it with my Visa Card. This product is specifically marketed for vulvodynia, and my pelvic floor PT recommended it to me. So, on July 21, I decided to give it a try. But let me tell you, within minutes of applying it, I was in absolute agony! It felt like I was being burned down there. I tried washing it off, but it was too late. I contacted the company to let them know what happened and asked for a refund. But you know what they said? They said they don't do returns. Can you believe that? I explained to them that this wasn't just a matter of preference. I had actually suffered because of their product, and I wanted my money back, whether I returned the product or not. Their response was ridiculous. They basically said, "Sorry it didn't work for you. Not our problem. Talk to your doctor." Can you believe the nerve? I don't have any known allergies or sensitivities, and I'm not someone who reacts to things easily. I even told my doctor about it, and she was appalled. She said she won't be recommending this product to her patients anymore. I feel like Desert Harvest is blaming me for their product causing harm. So, I'm going to dispute the charges with my credit card company to try and get my money back.
