I received a invoice from a rental car company beyond their 90-day window. I submitted all paperwork required from SilverRock, handwritten reimbursement request, invoice from repair facility and rental facility, along with proof of payment from my credit card.
After a second email requesting a status on my request, SilverRock sends an email saying I incorrectly filled out their request forms. So I resubmitted all paperwork correcting the error that was said I made.
Immediately after receiving my 2nd submission the request was denied. The only reason being outside their "strict 90 day policy."
In speaking with a Manager, Damien. Under no circumstances does SilverRock provide exceptions to their rule. The quote Damien used, if we do it for one person we have to do it for everyone.
SilverRock is becoming a thorn in my side. Getting repairs are difficult. Their processes are painful, and their customer satisfaction rating is very poor. I am at the point to cancel this warranty and go elsewhere.
The rental company submitted my bill to the repair facility. Then the repair facility denied the claim. The rental company invoiced me for the rental, which I would have done also. I paid the bill. SilverRock refuses to pay due to being outside their window. Their excuse, I've never heard of that before.
If you have a choice of extended warranty companies - go elsewhere. SilverRock appears to deny at all costs. Listen to the horror stories. This reflects on Carvana also. I will also never do business with Carvana either, due to this experience.
I do not recommend either company.
Recommendation: Do Not use SilverRock as an extended warranty company. Save your money.
