SewingMachinesPlus Beware of SewingMachinesPlus: Dishonesty, Poor Quality, and Terrible Service

So, I thought I'd try SewingMachinesPlus to buy my new sewing machine. I was pretty excited to receive it, but that happiness didn't last for long. As soon as I started using it, I noticed some strange sounds and the machine wasn't running smoothly. I had a problem with the tension, and when I took a look at the bobbin area, I found some fabric-like fuss inside. It was so disappointing to realize that it was a used machine, not a new one that I had just bought.

I wasn't happy and decided to return it. But when I contacted their customer service, they told me that I had to pay a 20% restocking fee, which really didn't sit well with me. To make things worse, their call queue was so long that it felt like no one was ever available to talk to me. It was such an annoying experience that I want to warn others and say don't even think about considering this company. Their dishonest behavior was too much for me to handle.

Overall, my experience with SewingMachinesPlus was one to avoid. If you're in the market for a new sewing machine, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. You don't need to go through the hassle I went through. Instead, find a reliable company that you can trust.

SewingMachinesPlus Mixed Experience with SewingMachinesPlus: Impressive Selection but Disappointing Classes and Restocking Fee

I recently was on the lookout for a new sewing machine, and SewingMachinesPlus (sewingmachinesplus.com) caught my attention due to their wide variety of options. One of the things that appealed to me was the fact that they said they offered classes to help customers learn about the machines they were interested in. I couldn't pass up the opportunity, so I decided to go ahead and make a purchase.

Imagine my disappointment when I found out that, because I had bought my machine online, I was not able to attend the ZOOM class I had signed up for. I was directed to UTube instead. Honestly, this felt like a bit of a letdown - I had really been looking forward to the class, and was looking forward to learning more about my new machine. But I decided to roll with the punches and give the UTube videos a go.

The thing that really rubbed me the wrong way about this whole experience, though, was the 20% restocking fee that SewingMachinesPlus charged for returns. I understand that they need to recoup some of their costs, but that just feels like a lot to me. I ended up returning the machine, since I didn't feel like I had gotten the full experience I was promised. It wasn't an easy decision, but ultimately I felt like it was the right call.

Overall, my experience with SewingMachinesPlus was mixed. While their selection of machines is certainly impressive, I feel like the promise of classes didn't quite pan out for me. And, of course, the restocking fee made the process of returning my machine more complicated than I would have liked. I'm not sure if I would purchase from them again in the future, but I suppose it depends on the situation.

SewingMachinesPlus Terrible Experience with Untrustworthy Company Due to Poor Customer Service

Had a really bad time with these guys. Tried to buy a machine from them, but Laura from customer service was a total nightmare to deal with. She kept going on and on about the terms and conditions, but I'm like, just send it to me in an email, ya know? Like, how hard can it be? But no, she had to go all power tripping on me, getting all mad and telling me I'm wasting her time. So not cool.

Anyway, I don't trust a company that won't send you stuff in writing. Like, what are they trying to hide, you know? So I went ahead and bought my machine from another place instead. Don't waste your time with these peeps.

SewingMachinesPlus Terrible Customer Service Experience with SewingMachinesPlus - Would Not Recommend

I recently bought a sewing machine from SewingMachinesPlus. Unfortunately, they didn't have my first choice in stock, so I settled for a different one, hoping I'd like it just as much. When it arrived, I was disappointed and wanted to exchange it for my original pick. But that's when my trouble began.

I've called their customer service department many times, and each time I've had to wait on hold for at least 45 minutes before giving up and hanging up. One time, I was able to leave a message, but have yet to hear back. I've also sent several emails, but still haven't gotten any response. I feel like I'm in a helpless situation with no way out.

Their customer service is deplorable, and I'm extremely disappointed in their lack of responsiveness. As a result, I wouldn't buy a replacement from them even if they do eventually get back to me. The whole experience has been frustrating, and I worry that they won't respond in time for me to make my exchange within the 60-day return policy.

Overall, I'm feeling let down by SewingMachinesPlus and wouldn't recommend them to others.

SewingMachinesPlus Terrible Customer Service Experience with SewingMachinesPlus - Lost $800 on Faulty Machine

I recently placed an order for a sewing machine through SewingMachinesPlus (sewingmachinesplus.com) and unfortunately had some difficulties with the product once it arrived. The machine was not functioning properly and seemed to be acting up despite my best efforts to get it to work correctly.

When I contacted customer service for assistance, I was informed that I would be transferred to the technical support team who would be able to help me troubleshoot the issue. However, my experience with the tech team was less than satisfactory as they were impatient and rude towards me instead of providing the assistance that I needed.

The next day, I decided that the best course of action would be to return the machine and seek a refund. However, my attempts to contact customer service were met with no response. Despite sending numerous emails their way, I still haven't heard back from anyone regarding my issue. Now I am stuck with a faulty machine and have lost $800 in the process.

Needless to say, I have learned my lesson when it comes to ordering items online. It is much safer to purchase items from local retailers in your area to avoid any potential issues with returning and receiving refunds. I urge others to be careful when ordering items from SewingMachinesPlus as I experienced first-hand how difficult it can be to return a product and receive a refund. In the end, it's just not worth the risk.

SewingMachinesPlus Disappointing Experience with SewingMachinesPlus: A Review of Their Services

So, I gotta say, I’m feeling pretty bummed about my experience with SewingMachinesPlus. Now, I’m no grammar expert, so please forgive any errors I’ve made. But let me tell you my story, y'all.

Last November, I ordered a HANDIQUILTER QUICK CLICK RULER BASE from SewingMachinesPlus. I was so excited to get my hands on it and start quilting like a pro. But when my package arrived, it was the wrong item! I was so disappointed.

But I figured, hey, mistakes happen. I contacted customer service right away and they told me I could return the wrong item and get the correct one shipped to me. I was relieved that they were willing to fix the mistake, you know? So I did the return and waited.

And I waited.

And I waited.

I mean, I called SewingMachinesPlus in December, February, and March. And each time, they told me they had shipped out the right item and it would be on my doorstep any day now. But it wasn't.

Finally, I spoke to a woman named Kim at extension 143. She seemed nice enough, but my HANDIQUILTER QUICK CLICK RULER BASE was still nowhere to be found. It's now May 2020, and I’m still waiting for any kind of solution.

I’m definitely getting frustrated, y'all. I don't want to sound rude, but this is kind of ridiculous at this point. I'm even thinking of getting the Better Business Bureau involved or disputing the charge on my credit card. I just want either a refund or my darn quilting platform!

Anyway, that's my experience with SewingMachinesPlus. Take it as you will.

SewingMachinesPlus Miserable Online Sewing Machine Shopping Experience: A Cautionary Tale

Can you believe my experience with SewingMachinesPlus? It was straight-up miserable from the beginning to the end. I placed an order for a sewing machine in April, and it took them a whopping four weeks to even acknowledge my order. Then, I got an email from the top dog saying that due to the pandemic, everyone and their mama wanted a sewing machine, which caused a surge in demand. I get it, we were all going crazy with the pandemic, but come on now, it's been months and no improvement. It's taking them eons to get their act together.

When I called customer service, I wanted to throw my phone across the room! It was so frustrating trying to talk to someone. When I finally got someone to hear my woes about the sewing machine, I was told that returns go through their precious service department and have to be approved. Like, really? Who has time for that? My only takeaway from this experience was to save my box.

My advice to you is to forget shopping online for sewing machines. Go to a physical store and try the machine before making a purchase. You can even have a class and talk to someone in person. Don't make the same mistake I made!

SewingMachinesPlus Beware: Disappointing Quality and Poor Customer Service from SewingMachinesPlus

Hemline Slate Blue Quilting Studio Collection Three Bag Trolley Set priced only at $229.00 caught my eye. I thought it was a steal! But oh boy, when it arrived, it was a different story. My first impression was that it looked like it was pre-owned. The metal framing on the outer part of the trolley set was rusted, and I also saw rust inside the bags. It was disappointing that some areas in the bags had been stained by rust. To my surprise, the accessory bag had a bad snag, which was unacceptable. It was hard to ignore the flaws because they were obvious.

What made it worse was that one of the most crucial parts of the trolley set was missing, and that is the end pieces that Velcro inside the sewing machine bag itself. Who in their right mind would have thought that it was okay to ship an incomplete set? It was impractical and unprofessional to do that, and I'm not happy about it.

I was outraged when I saw these defects, so I contacted SewingMachinesPlus, including pictures of the issues. I have spoken to them on the phone, sent several emails, and also returned the bag. Still, it's been two weeks since I've brought this to their attention, and there's no indication of them sending me a replacement one. According to my latest conversation with them, it shipped over a week ago, but nothing came. It's incredibly frustrating that they ignore me or keep lying to me when I follow up with them.

It has been almost a month since I gave them my money, and I am yet to receive the product I paid for. I am extremely disappointed in SewingMachinesPlus and will not buy from them again. I advise anybody to beware when purchasing something from them because they have little regard for quality, and they aren't prompt with their customer service.

SewingMachinesPlus Mixed Experience with SewingMachinesPlus: Great Deals, Slow Refunds and Backorders

I came across SewingMachinesPlus website looking to buy a dress form. I was captivated by the great deals that I saw on the site that seemed too good to be true. I was skeptical and decided to message the representative to find out more about this product as it seemed too good to be true. To my surprise, the representative assured me that the dress form was of high quality and there were no catches to it. I couldn't resist the amazing deal and placed my order immediately.

However, my excitement was short-lived as I received an email just after placing my order which informed me that the product I ordered was on backorder. I was disappointed and I decided to cancel my order. When I contacted the customer care, I was informed that my card had not been charged and it was only a hold. I was promised that within seven days, my hold would be released if the product was not shipped.

Seven days passed and my money had still not been refunded. I decided to call them back to ask about the refund. Unfortunately, I found out that the cancelation was not processed on time and my money had not been refunded. I felt frustrated as I had to wait for so long and my time had been wasted. Finally, they agreed to cancel my order and assured me that my refund would be processed promptly.

I'm still waiting for my refund but I'm hopeful that it will be processed soon. This experience has taught me the importance of being cautious when buying from online stores. Despite the hiccups, the representative I spoke to was courteous and professional. My advice to potential customers is to be patient when dealing with backorders and refunds. However, I would recommend that SewingMachinesPlus takes necessary steps in improving their order management and customer care processes to avoid such delays in the future.

SewingMachinesPlus Excellent Sewing Machine but Poor Customer Service at SewingMachinesPlus

I recently bought a sewing machine from SewingMachinesPlus and I was promised an adjustable height table to accommodate my height. As someone who is only 5'1", the table was supposed to be lowered as much as possible. Unfortunately, the lowest height still turned out to be three inches higher than my standard sewing table, causing some inconvenience. I tried to reach out to their customer service through several phone calls, but I didn't get any helpful response.

To remedy the issue, I bought a higher chair so that I could sew with my new machine without any difficulty. However, I found myself sitting on the edge of the chair, which eventually caused it to roll away from under me, leading to one unfortunate fall. Being 72 years old, falls could be dangerous to my health, so I couldn't continue using the new machine with that kind of risk.

Despite reaching out to the service guys multiple times, they were not helpful at all and one of them was even rude. This made my whole experience a complete nightmare. I have a degenerative disc disease which makes it even more challenging for me to use the machine. Although the sewing machine is excellent, I can't use it, and it's just sitting idle.

To add to my frustration, it took three long weeks of repeated phone calls before I could finally learn that the service guys didn't know what was wrong with my Servo motor error code. Eventually, a general sewing machine repairman in our area was able to fix it, and everything works fine now.

In conclusion, I must say that SewingMachinesPlus has a great variety of sewing machines to choose from, but their promised service fell short of my expectations. Despite getting an excellent machine, I have not been able to use it because of the high table. Their customer service was terrible, and it took several weeks to have a basic problem fixed.
