In December 2025 I purchased a daybed with trundle for my daughter. I was told that the manufacture may not be making anymore of that model and I needed to wait to hear back. Totally fine with me. I was notified that Kanes would not receive another model (Gulf Breeze Charcoal Daybed/Trundle) and they would sell me the floor model for a significant discounted price. Well I had been trying to keep in touch with my sales person and got no responses, so when I went in to pick up the final piece I was told I was given a 50$ (about) discount. According to my payment information I was not. The original price was $699.99 and on my sales slip that is what I was charged. Since the product was the floor model there were minor defects on it like small tears on the back and general wear and tear from other customers testing out the product. While I was there to pick up the final piece I was told they couldn't do a discounted price due to it being a lease with Acima, and that they had no idea if they could give me a discount. After calling Acima they also sent an email for an updated price on the bed and received no response about that. I never received a follow up email or call with a discounted price. I had no problem with purchasing the floor model but not for the full price. I was told it would be significantly reduced and the communication was not handled and I was charged full price for something that was essentially used. I have been buying furniture from them since 2017 and never had a problem and now I won't be returning since they handled this situation very poor! So disappointing.
Recommendation: Dont buy floor models unless you want to be charged full price
