Safelite AutoGlass review: Windshield leaking caused $8500 damage to my cars wiring harness

The windshield after a replacement in Oct 2019 was leaking and the leak was not found until water was on the floor in Feb 2022. I had all the warning lights in my car and features began to not work. The dealership replaced $2100 in modules and a gearbox and that did not solve the issue. The dealership found that water was leaking from the top driver side into the main wiring bundles in the A-pillar and cowl area. I brought the vehicle back to Safelite and they found that it was leaking, replaced the windshield, but refused to pay for the damage caused by their poor installation. In order to fix the issue fully, it will cost $8500. I put in a claim to Safelite, but they have denied my claim because they said I would have had to come to them once I saw the issue. The dealership said the water was leaking into my vehicle for awhile even though I did not see it in the vehicle.
