Saatchi Art

I bought a painting on June 17th and paid $*** for it. They said it would come in two or three weeks, but I still haven't gotten it. I emailed and called them a bunch of times asking for my money back, and they keep saying they'll give it back, but it seems like they don't want to! Can you help me out?

I tried to sell my art on Saatchi Art. They said they wouldn't show my real name, only the artist name I gave them. This was important to me for privacy reasons. I put in a picture, but now they show my real name and picture on their site. I can't change it or take it down. Their website forms don't work and their phone goes to voicemail. They haven't answered my emails. I deleted my account, but my real name and picture are still up. They're not following their own rules. Don't sell on Saatchi Art.

I got a piece from Saatchi Art on June 19. The artist confirmed the pickup date of June 29 on June 20, and I was charged right away (even though it wasn't supposed to ship for another 10 days). June 29 came and went, and the piece was never picked up or shipped. I caught it on July 10, and Saatchi should be responsible for making sure their artists ship the works they're making a commission off of. I've contacted customer service 3 times, and they only responded once, saying they would "check in" with the artist to find the status. At this point, the piece won't arrive in time for the remodel. Overall, terrible customer service, charging before shipping is confirmed, and no follow-up or compensation for Saatchi's failures. Order #***.

I'm a collector who buys art online from many sites. I was really shocked by Saatchi Art's lack of professionalism and disrespect for customers. I bought a piece from an artist in Ukraine on July 27th and paid right away. They said it would ship on August 3rd, but I asked to delay until August 16th because I was traveling. I emailed them several times, but they didn't respond. Finally, on August 19th, they said the artist couldn't ship because they live in an area without couriers. This is a lie because the artist sold 8 other pieces on Saatchi and lives in a city of 70,000 people. Saatchi should not have accepted this excuse. I feel cheated and this is a breach of contract. Be careful when buying from them!
