I was on the fence about this whole mushroom coffee fad, but I also grew up with a mom who saved me from the brink of death with shiitake mushrooms, steeped as a horrible tasting broth. I know the healing effects of lions mane, and some of the others so I finally gave it a go.
In my opinion, it takes a few sips to go with the idea of finishing the cup. By the time I finished the cup I liked it (except for the grit at the bottom). I'm pretty picky and I don't like mushrooms so that's pretty telling. With the creamer at first, I was against the consistency and the strong coconut smell, but also I'm tired of dealing with IBS and other inflammatory issues. I added it to my next cup. After that, I started craving my new drink. I follow the 2 cup recommendation. I have also expanded to the chai and the hot cocoa. To me, the chai and vanilla creamer have become my nightly staple- like that comforting warm drink before bed that many people used to get as a child. After a month of dedicated use, I am happy to say that (TMI) I am finally having regular BMs! If you've never dealt with IBS, you can't appreciate the joy of what I'm talking about lol. No more fluctuating between running for the bathroom and constipation. It's still such a new thing for me after 25 years that every day I'm amazed. Now I've been accused of being a bot in the past with my comments, so I'll just add that even if I were a bot, I would be drinking RYZE, if bots had mouths. Since I also deal with inflammation after many concussions, I just tried adding the superfood creamer to turmeric… Not bad actually! I hope it will help. And it definitely helps get the taste of turmeric down. Oh, also, I did not have any caffeine withdrawal going straight from coffee over to mushroom coffee. In fact, my headaches disappeared. Of course, statements like mine are personal and individual, but if you're anything like me, you'll try anything to feel better and when you find something that works, it's golden!
Recommendation: Hopefully the picture won't post sideways, the drink definitely won't leave you feeling sideways lol. I recommend it.
